A great VIDEO—very informative. Really... 🙂 One point: As a Videographer using a digital VIDEO camera, you're not filming, you're videoing. It's time to let go of the word film, unless the project was actually shot on film. With 95% of the industry now working in digital, sticking to outdated terminology distorts the craft and undermines the incredible advancements we’ve made. The homage to our craft isn't rooted in film, but in recognizing that we come from analog and video. These distinct technologies required different skill sets, which in turn developed into separate industries. One of these industries just happened to evolve to encompass all the others.

We should take pride not only in the advanced tools—non-linear editing, CGI, high-resolution video—but also in the engineers whose innovations have transformed storytelling beyond what film could ever achieve. We are moviemakers, not "filmmakers." Our craft is dynamic, ever-evolving, and worthy of recognition in its own right. While film remains a respected niche, digital has long been the dominant force, and it's time our language accurately reflects the reality of what we do. ✌♥

Brandon I just bought one and have my Osmo Action 5 pro on it by setting teh gimbal to virtacle and then adding the camera on sideways via the magnet. It balances like that but not with the gimbal and camera horizontally, unless I'm wrong? You inspired me. Next I need a good mirrorless that is very compatible with the RS4

This is no smooth, looks very bed when you moving, I also watched other videos with smaller phones and this gimbal proves to be very bad for recording videos.I don't know why you show videos of this gimbal M7 so briefly, but I guess it definitely has a flaw. While shooting with another camera when displaying the M7 the image is not incredibly stable, smut, etc. According to the menu, one of the worst gimbals so far.

Hey Brandon, I’m having an issue with my DJI RS3 Pro. When RavenEye loses the object it’s tracking, the gimbal starts making strange, jerky rotations. In such situations, I have to forcefully restart the camera. My setup includes a Sony A7iii with a Sigma 24-70 lens, and I’m using my iPhone as an external monitor. Could you please share some advice that might be helpful?

How did you assign 'AF/MF toggle' to the 'record button' on the gimbal? I can assign the M button to any function I like but I can't find how to assign a custom function to the 'record button' on the gimbal...
