I’ve heard him say Soleil a lot, but not Ophelia. Is that simply because Soleil is easier to say, and/or he has learned how to say one name but not the other? Like the way he says Tori a lot but doesn’t often say Dalton (at least I haven’t seen it much on camera)? Or might it also have something to do with Apollo and Soleil being closer friends?

Apollo obviously loves his mates he makes so many family sounds to the air signaling he is part of the family of the humans as he emulates them and part of the two parroletts. All this talking is so charming thanks for sharing ☄️🌟✨⚡️🍆🥦🫐🍉🍋🥥🥕🧅🧄🫚🥯🥯🍫🍮🍮🍮🍿🎂🍨🍨

I wonder if Tori and Dalton ever notice Apollo speaking/making sounds in other people's voices. Of course i know he mimics a variety of sounds, human and otherwise, but parrots don't tend to meet that many people regularly. Sometimes i think i hear him speak with a voice that doesn't sound like his own, Dalton's or Tori's voice. No idea how often they have other people around, but at least these last few weeks there has been the ~mysterious~ cameraman present during the livestreams, my guess is that it's entirely possible that he might start mimicking their voice, although the sounds they make might (?) not be as interesting to him as Tori and Dalton's sounds are.

whenever apollo's speaking gets less distinct, he sounds a lot like conversations when my auditory processing disorder is acting up lol
