The SINGLE BEST Indicator for Day Trading (NOT MACD, CCI, RSI or anything else you've ever heard of)

just purchased the weighted_AD study. Need some help, it doesn't look right when loaded into thinkorswim!

I am curious to see how this indicator performed yesterday 1/9/23. Were it able to show the turn at 11:30AM EST?

Usually during this time of the year, we get to see certain stocks go up in the market, but that’s very unlikely this season cos of the recession and overall economic crisis, issue is I've been holding a lot of stocks hoping to sell for profit this month but I'm not sure if to keep holding or sell, I’ve been running at a loss since Q2 and 2023 is really not looking favorable for investors

What do the purple and yellow mean?

Bought doesn't work basically takes starting price of spy then histograms above 0 if price is increasing from open and below 0 histogram if spy drops below opening price

Incredible, another indicator to buy for the fire sale price of $95.00. LOL! Let me save you some money. Make a new watchlist from the PUBLIC lists available that include OMG, the SP500 sectors. Once the watchlist is done click on the cog, click on customize and add the High/Low Graph and BOOM, you have a watchlist showing you visually the changes as they happen on the sectors on the fly. Since you already know which sectors are the heaviest, you know how to interpret the changes as they happen. You're welcome.

Could this indicator be adjusted to track the list of stocks pertaining to an ETF instead of the S&P sectors? I don't trade the S&P I only trade EFT's.

Interesting because my favorite indicator is the High/Low graph on TOS, which is a Sentiment meter. I sort my watchlist by the High/Low graph and watch what rotates to the top. When the SPY is going up but the bond ETFs and defensive sectors are at the top it makes me cautious. But when we are going up and the XLK, XLC, XLY and Aapl, GOOGL, TSLA are at the top I know we are going to the moon, temporarily...

this indicator seems to fall right into my wheelhouse, my trading style is identifying "change in character" through 1st higher low & 1st lower high, then start to include other variables for best entry, again this indicator can be a game changer in confirming on a high % that we can go lower or higher helping staying away from "fake-outs". will consider the purchase thanks Peter.

Would be interesting to back test it in market replay mode and see real life performance on the significant chunk of data. It is a bit strange that Indicator Histogram was presented without overlaying charts which would make the pitch much more convincing.

For seven years, I have been using PSAR, KELTNER and SMA. I still have not changed or switched to anything else. For sub chart, I am using RSI.

This firm offers no support whatsoever, zero, for customers with problems. I bought this as it sounded like a great concept, but it doesn't display the histogram on ThinkOrSwim. I frobbed around with the settings, but nada. I sent 3 emails and left two voice mail messages over a week and never got any response whatsoever. Very disappointing.

No need to purchase any TOS lagging indicators. They should be available for free or could be simply replicated and made free. Indicators themselves are never right or wrong. They just give idea of current market reality from a lagging standpoint so that you combine them with your own judgment and creative thinking to predict next candle or trend. But in a fast wicking market none of these indicators work. You need to flow with market with price/volume action.
