Awesome!
ОтветитьWhat does it do for your jeep???
Ответитьsmall side note ; some heat shrink tube on the cable ends will stop small snags catching the cable. Thanks for the vids
Ответитьwas there no possible tie point on the body? I mean, what happens when you pop the hood? and the limb risers will put a decent tension on the hood latches, wont' they?
ОтветитьShould do a vid on a DIY Awning!!!!! Please.
ОтветитьGreat video and I had not thought about the "T" plate method. Thanks Cappy
ОтветитьFor what ? What is the purpose
ОтветитьWatched about 5 DIY vids for limb risers so far, and I honestly like your method the best. This is gonna make a nice little "lazy saturday" project for my TJ coming up soon. One question: Do you think there is any cause for concern about the T bracket making too much of a sharp bend on the cable on the upper end causing long term cable integrity issues at that point? I think the only addition I might make is a second carabiner at the t bracket just to have a softer turn on the cable. to minimize the cable stretching. Otherwise, your design is fantastic!
ОтветитьHow much did all the parts cost for this project?
ОтветитьNice job but hey what's on ur hood I really put on my jeep hood please info thank you
Ответитьis there wind noise on highway
ОтветитьThat's nice but you could have got smaller turnbuckles and there's also these little aluminum clamp that you put in a vice or you hit him with a sledgehammer that squeezes the cable and you're not stuck with that little clamp there but I guess it'll do.
ОтветитьYou can also get aluminum ones
ОтветитьCurious... how did you get your nickname?
ОтветитьThinking about adding it to my 2009 JK but instead of going from hood latch to top of the door going to the top of my roof rack using a roll bar clamp.
ОтветитьCan I use a 3/32 in cable and hardwaare to make the limb or do I need it thicker?
ОтветитьThat'll work but they look janky AF.
