Why do lgs pulse the water like that? Mine does it way more than this washer tho. I hate it and my pipes hate it.

I never thought I would see such gimicky thing as the sidekick on Eugene's channel SKSKSKSKSKSKSKKSKKDSKKSKKKKS it's like catching the serious metalhead or opera buff bopping to a top 40 song

I always enjoy your videos. I wish you had an infrared thermometer to show us the wash temp.

I never understood why these LG washers go through all these starts and stops with the fill valves? Why can’t it just fill with water and start washing, so much time wasted. Electrolux models fill much faster without the constant topping off. Nine minutes into the wash the gray T-shirt was still not totally wet that’s the difference when they have the recirculation pump the clothes get wet much faster.

very informative

the powders contain ingredients that prevent the formation of mold and the development of microorganisms in the washer. So if you only use liquid detergent and always wash your clothes in cold water, mold and bacteria can build up in your washer and cause bad odors. A few loads of hot water with a powdered detergent will solve this problem. Take the opportunity to wash your pale clothes at the same time, since powders generally make whites brighter - less gray - than liquids.

Soap capsules
Detergents in capsules, on the other hand, are the simplest to use, since there is no need to measure the amount of soap to add to the laundry. According to our colleagues at the ICRT, notably from the French magazine Que Choisir, these detergents are not as effective as those in powder for removing stains, but they are better than liquid soaps. In addition, the capsules degrade the brightness of the white less than the latter; they can therefore constitute a good compromise.

Eight minutes into the cycle and not everything is wet yet. It's behaving like mine. My machine is more interested in saving water than in washing clothes. I'm compiling a list and hope to run through it sometime with you. I've learned a bunch of tricks that make it wash satisfactorily, but there is no automatic cycle I can trust. It barely uses sufficient water to purge the supply line from the water heater of the cool water standing in it. I like the sidekick, but I believe it uses about double the amount of water the front loader does. I have learned how to fool it into giving a hot wash, which is not available automatically. More later.

This, like my Whirlpool front loader, and the previous front loader I had, all do this stop-start-fill--wait-sensing-fill-sensing-turn-sensing-wait-sensing Kabuki Dance... it's sickening. I want a machine where I put the clothes in, set the timer and cycle and water temp and level, let the machine fill, wash, spin, rinse, spin, rinse and final spin. Not to much to ask for, but no... let's all have machines that do the Kabuki Dance, use two tablespoons of water, and flash a little light and play a little ditty at the end to tell you your clothes are still dirty.

Tide reformulated their scents. The Mountain Spring is what the original Tide smelled like before changing it a few years ago.

All this "load sensing" and fancy movements is such a waste of time. Just stick with the old tried and true pressure switch. I'll take my '06 Frigidaire over this any day.
