We need to strive for excellence again
ОтветитьQuite frankly, pilots are now more "systems analysts" than pilots. Not all and not most, but that is where it is headed. If an automatic computer activated aircraft control system malfunctioned or took charge of my aircraft. I turn it off if possible. Keep it off, and fly the airplane. They don't want them doing that nowadays. Too much liability. If their computer fails, they can still blame it on the pilot.
ОтветитьCorporate executive bullshit is so bad that planes are falling out of the sky.
ОтветитьJust noticed the Max ad at the end
ОтветитьDone Old trump is a Clear and Present Danger How can any American trust this volatile puppet with the nuclear codes, he will just say a person said on the TV to do it!? Do you want Shea D. vance as President Sofa king weird!
ОтветитьYou got to love capitalism! Profits above human life.
Ответить“New business daddy is mad at us all the time”😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьLike the banks in the commercial papes scandal, Boing is "too big to fail" !
ОтветитьWhy should anyone be surprised. This is how capitalism works. That is why we had put all those evil regulations on corporations and business because capitalist don't give a crap about safety they only see money. This is what one gets with over 40 urars of deregulation voodoo economic raeganism. The worst president we had ever had with his deregulation programs. It isn't like, oh you want to start a business, wait we have to make a bunch of regulations first. These laws take a long time before the system starts to put laws forcing these pigs into doing the right thing. And then they put millions of dollars into fighting the law rather than improving their products. We have a bunch of little children running the world.
Ответитьyou couldnt pay me to fly again.
ОтветитьA story that keeps giving regardless of age.
ОтветитьBoeing are literally making quite a few global impacts recently.
ОтветитьChina now make better plane than the US can. That's communism.
ОтветитьBet Russia can.
ОтветитьInvestors are squeezing money out as soon as possible - they know the company is going down soon. THIS SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK.
ОтветитьTo be honest this is every mass productions issue.
ОтветитьThe culture was very cut throat, sink or swim mentality. I tried to work hard, train, and took pride of my work. Then all went down the drain after 5 years which is sad because I really tried to do a good job. After watching the news on how they are cost cutting corners in both work and quality…this doesn’t surprise me. I really don’t care what happens with them at this point since they got rid of me but hope they just get rid of the swamp there. From now on…It’s Airbus or I am not going. lol
ОтветитьBoeing does not have pensions?
That is incredible
Ah, yes the greediness of companies
ОтветитьThank God, John is famous and Boeing won't try to kill him
ОтветитьThis is the perfect example of how the thought process of the employee’s job being to create profit for the shareholders was totally effing wrong all around.
ОтветитьAnd just today Boeing has announced it's exploring selling off it's space division.
ОтветитьStock prices are not the only issue.
What about dividends?
I completely agree about the balloons.
Ответитьlook at how much joy is in the face of this pos that he can casually ignore the dei murder train and just "blame greedy companies" and not the actual cause - greedy useless companies and dei.
ОтветитьBoeing is just about the perfect example of how we do not live in a capitalist society, they stopped reinvesting in their product, their entire motive toward profit us the refusal to be responsible by sacrificing profit by converting it into capital. These shortcomings would not have occurred if they had taken the moral responsibility of sacrificing the accumulation of money for confidence proving production, which is what capitalism demands of industry.
ОтветитьBoeing is one of the most vociferous advocates of "diversity" hiring. So maybe some of their unqualified "diversity" employees are screwing up the company.
ОтветитьHow are these Boing executives not someone's prison girlfriend?!?
ОтветитьLet me check my next flight...
ОтветитьIn the 60s, I was about 14 when I was one of hundreds of volunteers who participated in mock evacuations of the 747, in a very secret building in Seattle. The FAA had strict requirements. 30 yrs later on a board with Condit. Stories of move to Chicago. Affairs of Condit.
ОтветитьI've flown on many planes. Thank goodness this didn't happen on a flight i took.
What a lame excuse for why it happened. 😮😮😮😮😢
This culture of mergers of two companies is common.
I had a similar experience where i worked. Without saying names, let's just say a well run company was acquired by a bigger but less well run company.
Even though the smaller companies' management's organization went to run BOTH companies instead of the efficiency of the smaller being transfered to the larger it was lost and the inefficiency of the larger ran everything.
I call it canceled culture. When shareholders and stock price become more important that the customer and service it's over.
😢😢😢😢😢😮
Boeing is one of the most vociferous advocates of "diversity" hiring. I believe that Boeing's problems come from unqualified "diversity" hires who don't know what they are doing.
Ответить* Is playing War Thunder * Quality escape means he was trying to blame it on the fact that not everything is 100% or the equivalent of silence and shrugging your shoulders if it could be put into words.
ОтветитьDEI nonsense, that's how.
Fortunately, they dissolved their diversity and inclusion dept.
American companies need to put the focus back on merit.
"McDonnell-Douglas bought Boeing with Boeing's money ..."
ОтветитьWhen these old companies were young, they gave pensions and worried if their workers were happy so they would not leave. One was a "Boeing man" (Pardon the sexism). Then Personnel became Human Resources. That says it all. An experienced workforce who has a stake will get it right. Going from, "Are you happy?" to "Be glad you have a job." is a safety issue, boss.
ОтветитьIf we want to stop stuff like this we need to get rid of citizens United protecting companies and CEO’s need to held legally accountable in situations like this
ОтветитьJust remember everyone: John Oliver is not suicidal.
ОтветитьJust call it how it is Mr. Oliver, the issue the same as always... corporations placing profit above ALL other considerations. From airlines to retail and penal systems to executive government it is the same set of problems.
Ответить" No highway in the sky" Jimmy Stuart, Jack Hawkins, Marlene deichtrich 🎉🎉🎉 all 🙏
ОтветитьWith the 737 Max, Boeing basically built a square wheel, then added a software patch to try and make it roll better. And all because some halfwitted MBAs thought it would be cheaper. How’s that working out for you so far, money boys?
ОтветитьI used to work full time delivering pizzas for the Hut.. they paid minimum wage. and sometimes you might get a dollar tip. some drivers made up their lack of tips by charging more on the pizza.. i never did that. thought it was too much like stealing. but i sure suffered for my honesty. couldnt make a living at it. so i worked a whole other full time job. it didnt pay enough either. thats how i found myself liiving out of my car for way too long. the theiving manager finaly got on my last nerve and i quit the hut. it wasnt worth the hassle ands poverty i lived in doing it. they wanted me to wash all the dishes while all the other drivers who were stealing in the price of a pizza were standing around. anyway.s.. your drivers from every company have to do way more than what you see him doing just walking up to your house with your food.. they dont earn enough money and it sure is hard to get any other job without experience none of us were born with. customers can make life really suck for those honest drivers who arent stealing in the basic price you got charge for that pizza. the company gets all that money. meanwhile your car cant afford an oil change, needs new tires and some antifreeze.. maintenance and fuel take all your money from you.. and uncle sam dont like you writing off too much in one year for all the expense you had in all the vehicles you went through just to keep the job. every time that person strolls up to your door with a great big smile; you need to remember all that back story and do some tipping. a 20 dollar bill sometimes can sure help ease the pain.
ОтветитьFollow Musk's model of vertical integration. Boeing has too much money going to middleman profit takers, and too little money to product and process.
ОтветитьI love your show! But can only watch one. Then have to take a break. I’LL BE BACK!
Ответить
