ОтветитьDamnit missed it by "that much".
ОтветитьWhat would be an awesome video for you going into 2025, would be where on earth do you go for the rules, because the basic rulebook is so out of date, I have a friend just starting up, and bought the rulebook, big mistake, because every time we play i have to find the newer version of the rules for him, there are so many different places for them, it gets kinda irritating,
So if you wanna make a short video so I can link to newer players on where to go, and how to update the rules, that would be awesome.
Love the content, and the great vibe, and congrats on the little one :-)
Glanced at the thumbnail, immediately crushed an RTT
ОтветитьI play 3 people more or less the time. They don't really change their armies that much. I know how their armies work. I know all the ranges on our store table as it is prebuild and fixed. I also know how my army works. Also GW made it so my dudes don't have grenades, so l can't forget them.
I liked how my army was in early 10th. 30 guards 3 cpts , 2 unit of 6 wardens and Trajan. But that army doesn't work anymore , plus is illegal. I hate the idea of using models l don't want to use and the FW "must haves" l can't afford. At this point l can more or less avarge out turn 1-3 vs DG and necrons. With WE it is more swingy , but melee army with strike first vs one without is, as of yet a riddlel could not solve.
There was a ted talk like this about dividing up a skill into a many individual learning curves on the way to getting 10,000 hrs of practice.
ОтветитьGreat video! How would you go about practicing something more conceptual like learning when to commit or when to push? Am i just sentenced to go gorilla mode for my next 5 games and see what works while i throw things forward?
ОтветитьThanks to your videos, I've been thinking a lot more about when to heroic intervention and use the full set of universal stratagems to maximum potential.
ОтветитьNgl as soon as you said practice I was gonna dislike the video. After listening all the way through I realized that I have not been intentional with my practice games and have been neglecting certain skills and need to have more focused goals when I play. Thanks for the reminder/motivation.
ОтветитьMy challenge is I only play a game about once every 2 weeks ... so practicing to reach this level would take a long time. It's a great idea and it goes to the heart of competitive play. I'm a casual player who just enjoys throwing dice with friends. Keeping the rules and datasheets in my head is my challenge but that comes with repetition.
ОтветитьPractice makes permanent
ОтветитьAs someone just starting the hobby. Is there a list of skills to practice?
ОтветитьThing I struggle with the most is finding time to play now that I have a 1 year old kiddo. RTTs are the most fun but it’s tough being gone for that long. Trying to get more involved into TTS just for convenience.
As you’ve recently become a father yourself. I’d love to hear how you manage or what tips you have
I am lucky that I can play 2 games per week and I can play against a large pool of opponents at my local club. My ability has massively improved as a result and seeking out the best players for practice games and soaking up their knowledge like a sponge.
ОтветитьStop taking aderal
Ответить#1 way to improve: Git gud.
ОтветитьConscious, engaged drilling is a major component of combat sports, which is where I learned it for myself. (BJJ/Muay Thai, and shooting to some extent) Habit-building is always happening, so you should strive to be thoughtful about everything!
ОтветитьSo specific question about the skill of "being faster".
-Is this something you think is the same as everygame (just focus on being fast), as I feel that might be counterproductive?
-Does this happen automatically when you have mastered enough of the other skills?
-Or do you have to cut in into smaller problems. For example start with faster dice rolling by always having your dice prepared in nice stacks?
My games always last at least 5 hours with set up. Which feels way to long. But then again, it might not be, but my opponents, who are the problem.
Love this video
ОтветитьCheers. We are forming a local 5-man team and this is just the sort of input I need ❤
Happy New Year 🎉
"Well! What is it!" ... Is exactly what this video's title SHOULD have been!
ОтветитьGreat video thank you!
ОтветитьOhh, nice one! Cheers and a happy new year!
ОтветитьI love your mentality. Love these videos.
ОтветитьPlayed my first tournament last weekend, went 1-2, only reason i won that game was from this channel. Thanks dude.
ОтветитьAlright, i have my homework
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you!
ОтветитьQuick edit for a fact check.... i do not practice my squats EVERY day. More like twice a week :P
