To be absolutely clear, the Hebrew "yam suph" does not translate as Red Sea and never has. The translation was as ever an attempt by religious zealots to harmonise their reality with the event. Yam Suph or the field of reeds is cognate with the Ancient Egyptian concept of a heavenly abode or paradise for the souls of the virtuous called the "Akhet A'aru" which just happens to translate as field of reeds. To peddle this Exodus narrative of Jewish enslavement and escape is nonsense, the Jews only recorded period of enslavement was in relation to Babylon from which they were graciously released by the Persian King Cyrus.

Anyone that went to school weather it be public or private was told lies that keep just rolling on for the last few decades and NOTHING has changed. Academia are making sure school is just a place to fill young peoples minds with lies. There was defiantly something else going on on earth a very long time ago which will never be revealed as they are the gatekeepers of true knowledge.

No it is Amenhotep 3 that died in the Gulf. The sea of reeds could not be the crossing because the Horses, chariots, Pharaoh, and troupes were found in the Gulf of Aqaba by Ron Wyatt. (Ron Wyatt museum)

Remember the miracle is NOT the crossing of the Red Sea, as He created everything so he can easily move the water. The miracle is that he had the Narcissistic sinner (evil) Moses and people at the right place, at the right time!

science is proving the facts in the bible are true at an increasing rate. but , to believe that God who created the universe and controls the elements in them would have to use natural accruing phenomenon for the plague listed in the bible is ridiculous. as Moses commanded the plagues they accurred. to suggest that Moses timed these plagues to coincide with natural occurrences foolery. these plagues accurred by the power of God to afflict the Egyptian's as Moses commanded them. God doesn't need naturally occurring phenomenon to account for his work or miracles he creates them as needed.

You can take all the evidence that supports this theory and exclude the evidence that doesn't suit you. This works for both sides and parties. The Sanskrit scriptures are full of stories and people who performed far greater miracles than walking on water. Even if the plagues existed, I don't believe in the god of the Bible. The stories from Genesis are practically all borrowed from the Sumerian tablets.

The proverbial “they” would prefer you believe the Jews weren’t even slaves… they want you to believe they were contract workers for the Egyptian pharaoh. And that’s exactly why it’s restricted access today. The tomb is very restricted for the same reason! I can’t imagine preferring people go to hell…how miserable a human being one must be to prefer that to the truth of the Bible😢

Believe in Yeshua (the Messiahs real name) John 5:43 acts 4:12 He came in His Fathers name Yehovah and Yeshua means salvation. Then we gotta keep Gods commandments 1st John 5:2-4 1st John 2:2-6 John 14:15-21 which includes the Saturday sabbath dawn to dawn the 4th commandment and all the rest. Then we don’t eat unclean animals Leviticus 11 Isaiah 66 and 65. Not breaking Gods commandments includes not doing pagan holidays like Christmas Easter Halloween etc. and again it’s all because if we truly believe in Yeshua and His words we will do what He says, and if we don’t we are liars

This video was disappointing. It plugged a book (albeit an interesting one), talked about the discovery of a mummy, then tried to make vague, real-life explanations for the plagues of Moses, with the aim of the adding credibility to Biblical events. That last part irked me because it's the kind of thing that folks on the fringe side of things often criticize the mainstream archaeologists of doing; coming up with vague explanations for every enigma, which don't hold up to scrutiny.

The Bible is a collection of stories, letters and various documents written by hundreds of individuals over thousands of years. No single bit of evidence is going to "prove the Bible"
It can only lend credence to a particular story/legend/myth. Most of which are likely based on some historical event anyway so, it's not a surprise when some evidence gets found that proves some story from the Bible is not totally made up.
Why would scientist automatically assume that everything in the Bible is fiction and then act like it's a big surprise when they find some evidence that something like a global flood or massive Earthquake or Supernova did actually happen and coincides with some story in the Bible.
This is not how science should be conducted. Maintain an open mind at all times for all possibilities. That way you avoid perpetuating and protecting dogma.

Before jumping to conclusions or spreading claims not backed by evidence, it’s important to fact-check carefully—especially when it comes to identifying Pharaoh Amenhotep II as the ruler of the biblical Exodus. Some suggest scars on his mummy or the death of his firstborn son prove he was the Pharaoh during Moses’ time, but none of these claims stand up to serious historical or scientific examination.

Let’s start with the basics: Amenhotep II reigned during Egypt’s 18th Dynasty, around 1427–1401 BCE. This period was marked by military success, stability, and a flourishing empire. The Bible places the Exodus in a much later context if you follow the more traditional dating (often linked around the 13th century BCE), while others argue for an even earlier time. But here's the problem: no timeline fits perfectly with what we know from archaeology.

The condition of Amenhotep II’s mummy also contradicts these theories. His body was found intact and shows no signs of violent death, plague, or trauma that would match the biblical plagues. The theory that “scars or wounds” on the mummy are evidence of plague is completely unfounded. Mummified bodies, especially those over 3,000 years old, can show wear or damage from the embalming process, tomb conditions, or even the recovery process—not from supernatural disease.

Now about his firstborn son. It's often claimed his eldest son died before him, supporting the Exodus story. The truth is, we don’t have clear records proving who his firstborn was or how and when he died. Succession in Egypt didn’t always go to the firstborn, especially if the heir came from a lesser wife or if there were political motivations for choosing another son. So assuming his firstborn died "because of the tenth plague" is pure speculation, not historical fact.

Then there’s the mention of the "Apiru" people in Amenhotep’s records. Some try to link the Apiru to the Hebrews. But the term “Apiru” was a generic label used across the ancient Near East for groups of outsiders, fugitives, or laborers. It wasn't an ethnic identifier and certainly doesn't prove a connection to the Israelites.

Perhaps the biggest issue is this: there is no Egyptian record of anything resembling the Exodus. Egypt was meticulous with its records—especially anything that glorified or justified the Pharaoh’s reign. A mass escape of slaves, a series of devastating plagues, and the death of the Pharaoh's heir would have been a monumental event. And yet… silence. Not one inscription, not one wall carving, not one scroll references such a catastrophe.

This doesn’t mean the Exodus story lacks all historical roots—it may preserve cultural memories of smaller events like migrations, local plagues, or the Hyksos expulsion. But claiming that it’s a literal, documentable event tied to Amenhotep II goes beyond what the evidence supports.

In short, there is no credible historical, archaeological, or forensic evidence that links Amenhotep II to the events described in the book of Exodus. What we do have are attempts to make history fit scripture by forcing connections where none exist. The danger here isn't just misinformation—it's the erosion of respect for real history, archaeology, and the incredible ancient culture of Egypt.

Believing in the spiritual or symbolic significance of the Exodus is one thing. But twisting history to "prove" it weakens both the story and our understanding of the past.

Thank you.
