Little Bittern visits our dam in Maleny, Qld

The first time I have ever seen one of these in my life was 2 days earlier in a suburban wetland in Beerwah, Qld. I was very surprise to flush one while riding a ride-on mower with trailer across our dam wall. I usually have my camera with me but I was so excited there was a lot of camera shake. I spent 14 minutes with this bird and caught several stills and a number of bits of video. I am very grateful to my good friend and video wizard, Richard Frieser who stitched it all together to make this. I hope you enjoy watching this seldom seen bird.
