In god of war there are light and dark elves
ОтветитьJust commenting for the algorithm 🤎💜
Ответить"In the name of Odin", similar to Hinduism, the Norse did not have one god, and the practice of worship was also similar, as there was sects of the religion.

ОтветитьI love norse and greek mythology and my dad was talking to a friend's and my dad did not know what mead was and I told him
ОтветитьCame here because of Hellblade. Ended up getting interested in the mythology.
Ответить⚔
ОтветитьPersonally, I see the realms of Svartalfheim and Nidavellir to be two separate places. I also see the Drow/Dark Elves to be an entirely different race/species of creatures from the Dwarves.
It always bothered me when scholars claim the Dwarves and Dark Elves were the same things. They've forgotten one glaring and fundamental fact about elves...they can't grow beards
Thanks for this ❤ so complete ❤
ОтветитьAsafaith is a religion..
Ответить"Remember Alf? He's back! In pog form."
ОтветитьYou family of Han?
ОтветитьViking is a profession. It's norse people.
ОтветитьBreaking this into chapters would have been helpful. This is the first video of yours I didn't like the flow of.
ОтветитьLove the videos. Just one hint: It's not "Bi-frost". It's "Bif-rost"
ОтветитьWhat's with Valhalla then? Is that not a world?
ОтветитьMight start worshipping Norse god's then our hell just sounds shit
Ответитьcan u please do more on helheim and the goddess Hel
ОтветитьLook at the Ice Wall map.
ОтветитьFrom a Norse Pagan his description is vague but accurate. A lot of individuals have no clue what the basis is about and use Marvel movies or video games to explain and butcher the beliefs
ОтветитьIstg people with Viking religions are usually the most chill people(yes I just complimented myself) like it's so fucking cool how chill and welcoming we are
ОтветитьJothunheim exists. Yes, it is true. There is a mountain area in the middle of Norway called Jothunheim. It is not inhabited with trolls and giants but is a popular area for outdoor activities.🤠🤠🤠
ОтветитьNew super mario bros wii has more worlds
ОтветитьOmg man props to you for trying to pronounce all those words without damaging yourself 😵💫
ОтветитьThere is SOOOOO kich about ancient Norse beliefs and mythology that we just dont know. It actually upsets me at just how much was lost because if Christianity. If the christians had not FORCED their religion onto the Norse, there woukd be so much more of their beliefs still surviving today. Most of what we know comes from 2nd, 3rd, 4th or even 5th hand accounts written by CHRISTIANS long after tha fact so a lot of it is biased. If there is one religion and culture that i wish had NEVER converted to christianity, its the Norse. I mean their religion makea about as much sense as Christianity does anyways, so i dont see why ANY of them woukd have ever wanted to convert. Lol.
ОтветитьMight start studying scandinavistics soon, what better way to prepare (wish me luck lmao)
ОтветитьI love how you described the Aesir gods as noble and orderly when they were nothing but a bunch of drunken braggarts who constantly broke paths and casually murdered anyone who committed even the slightest offense. Not sounding so orderly and noble now, are they?
ОтветитьThe prose Edda has to be taken with a grain of salt, if you read it, there is an obvious attempt to shove Christian beliefs into Norse mythology and the prose Edda version can make these topic completion incorrect from how they originally were
ОтветитьThank you for the ALF joke. That's exactly where my mind went too! 😆
ОтветитьThe amount of similarities in ALL WORLD mythology is nothing but astounding
ОтветитьWhere's that accent from that comes thru here n there? Mid-west dontcha know? Thanks for the vid
ОтветитьIt’s crazy how the nine worlds match the nine planets in the solar system. Like how tf when these stories were first written did people know about nine this info?
ОтветитьHow you gonna call a 9 minute video with a 1 minute intro, the COMPLETE mythology? Get outta here fool. This is an intro at best
ОтветитьAll these Viking stories are linked to flat earth and 178 worlds under first Dome , they are facts
ОтветитьAfrica is shaped like a Skull it has a Nose and Eyes so it actually makes since that are world would be created using a Titans body
ОтветитьJon, not to shame you, but there is no such thing as a Viking race, rather to go viking was what one did. Maybe you know that.
Ответитьlol
ОтветитьAsgard- Azhi Garad means the realm of unquenching Fire or light eternal
Jötun the realm of Wind Air force that bounds all through light
Midgard the trunk of the tree where muspelheim and niflheim are principalities
Vanaheim is the realm of the Powers adi Shakti serpent energy etc
Alfheim- Pari or Fairy world
The world of duality here is mentioned/
This is called Nafs or Angels/demons manifested the 10,000 things of the Tao.
Hel is the realm of dead and lost people, she is the only one helping them, you guys oath to praise and worship Her before anyone above.
Very well done for what it was... Very concise. Reasonably comprehensive. The only dead air time was the alf joke.
And that was funny.
10/10
Saxon,crow,wolf...peace and blessings
Ответитьbesides the bridge how does one travel between the 9 realms?
ОтветитьI always thought living to old age dying in an accident or worse, a young sick kid dies and these people go to Hel. Only people who committed murder, or people who were just terrible during their life deserved a horrible afterlife. What if you fought for Odin your entire life but were so talented you survived and died of old age. Or died before you were 3 years old.
ОтветитьI wish they made more movies/series about norse mythology thats correct. I am so mas at marvel for that. And im norwegian so im extremely into this!!
ОтветитьI love how the fat right image on the thumbnail is Rivendell from Lord of the Rings
ОтветитьWe on this fools eyebrows 😭
ОтветитьHeimdall is described as "the shining god and whitest-skinned of all gods", a fact that Marvel Studio apparently decided to ignore. Sorry Idris Elba, it's not your fault that the producers at Marvel Studio are color-blind and illiterate.
ОтветитьYou should issue a correction about that God of War snipe you attempted. If you got something that simple and easy to look up wrong, it makes me think what else you got wrong in your video.
ОтветитьRivendell on the thumbnail
ОтветитьCreated by black people aka annuaki gods and goddesses
