Apple doesn’t fix computers, they sell you new ones. I was quoted over $1,000 for board replacement. Luckily an actual repair shop was able to replace one of the chips that failed.

I once brought one of those plastic macbooks to apple and they told me the logic board was bad and couldn't be repaired. Sorry I didn't take it to someone like to get a second opinion.

Do you have to have the logic board connected to the battery to see if charger works or not?

Bro, I've got to say thank you for your service! You took good care of me when I ordered the 759-ASX, and honestly speaking, it's the best flux I've used to date. I couldn't be more happy with the performance and action I got out of it.
