I struggle so much with bird’s eye view. I’ll try the container box technique and see if that helps any.
ОтветитьWelp I understand there is a 99% chance that no one will see this but what thing is he using to draw? Its clearly digital but like what is it?
ОтветитьAmazing tutorial
ОтветитьIs there a specific chapter in the program detailing how to draw characters in perspective? Which chapter?
Great video anyway!

ОтветитьI wish he elaborated on how to constuct the boxed guidelines at the end, everytime i draw the boxes they dont seem right.. idk if theres a way to measure the specific spacing from each box to the next or what
ОтветитьUnrelated to the video, but I'm facing certain problems when it comes to combining the many things like lineart, coloring and shading, not necessarily related to perspective, but rather any kind of art. I've seen many cases, myself included especially, in which the lineart doesn't do so well when colors and shading get introduced. I assume that it's got something to do with line thickness and distances between lines, maybe the line colors, i don't really know the many factors coming into play. I've seen cases, where the lineart is straight up deleted once the shading is done, which scares me since i rely so much on it. My lineart is already not so good by itself (needs lots of practice), and it would be good to know how to best adjust the before mentioned three "phases" to get decent results, when lineart alone doesn't hold up. (Unless i practice wrong?)
If it makes sense, something very good to know would be to choose the line thickness in terms of technical measurements, like the very pixels. How are good sizes to choose for the canvas? How thick should the lineart be, relative to the canvas? And how do i best determine the color ranges, perhaps by saturation and brightness, for my desired image, without needing to constantly readjust certain colors?
HOW'D YOU KNOW??? 😭 I needed this thanks Marc
ОтветитьDoes mark do a portrait?
ОтветитьYou did for me in 10 minutes what my art school teachers couldn't do over 2 semesters
ОтветитьIf I didn’t have some studential economic problems and also my country’s currency would be good I definitely buy your course. 😂
ОтветитьMarc is ur hand kissed by a god?
Ответитьeffective perspective
thats fun to say.
Thanks for the great video, I hadn't thought of using symmetry lines on the individual forms. Always worth it to watch the full thing. Even if I just learn one completely new tip, the repetition of everything else helps me keep those principles in mind while I'm drawing.
Idk how, but whenever I have problems on something, Marc just makes a video for the exact same problem I get myself to.
ОтветитьI watched your videos for so long. Last year for my 40th bday, my husband got me your full uni-level degree course. The more I go through it, the more these videos have meaning. I get excited when I see you draw the muscle lines I would think to draw. And I can predict the lines you soon add in. It's like seeing in color after viewing it all in black&white. Thank you for all this content, and I wish you even greater good fortune.
ОтветитьYou read my mind
ОтветитьTaking notes once again✍️
ОтветитьThis is exactly what I needed, as advices, explanations and exercises to do, thank you so much Marc!
ОтветитьThank You! This clears things out preety well. I always come here when i feel lost or confused on any art topic.
ОтветитьWell I already knew most of it but I did learn a few new things so that was a like well spent :)
btw I know how much perspective is important but it's just so time consuming I usually just eyeball it and hope it will look ok lol. Lazy I know but I don't have much free time to practice :(
I'm 100% sure I said yesterday that perpective was difficult af, and then this video pops up... Time to bring home the bacon!
ОтветитьExtremely helpful, just about to start a character drawing doing an upward perspective, so it's just what I needed!
Ответитьno one ever explained this to me in such a structured way. Breaking it down with the mannequin, overlap and guidelines makes so much more sense! Now drawing in perspective seems far less daunting. I knew how to get the lines for the perspective but figuring out how my character fits into that perspective has always been a struggle. Now I know how to break it down! Thank you Marc!
ОтветитьThank you Marc, stay awesome
ОтветитьNow I need to go back because I don’t have a good way of constructing characters, thanks tho Mark, thanks to you I know what to do :))
Ответитьlesson makes sense but my fingers say no, guess i gotta try this again.. a lot
Ответитьno but why is the half mannequin girl built like mewtwo LORD have mercy XDDD
Ответитьeasy mode my ass
ОтветитьThis is an incredibly helpful video!
ОтветитьHugh Grant reviewing guitars.
ОтветитьThis extremely helpful
ОтветитьBut how do you draw 2 characters with different body types interacting in perspective?
ОтветитьI just realised he drew panties on the buff guy. Even has the little bow tie on it. lol
ОтветитьTy
ОтветитьI tried, I really did , for hours but its not working out, can't do it
Ответитьthis tutorial is so good holyyy. I've been struggling with this a lot, thanks a ton!
ОтветитьI lost a bet to my friend that I couldn’t recite more than 50 numbers of Pi
He now wants me to draw an extremely well done Dio pose by the next 9 months
Thanks
I still cant draw character in perspective like pov of an ant or sm1 just short
ОтветитьI wish I had your or similar sketches to put into a PureRef library to more easily study.
ОтветитьThank you i am a begginer on poses and i rlly dont draw the full oc since i am trying to learn the poses first so this helped a lot since i only draw poses from pinterest now i can try to draw my own poses thank you may god bless you new sub btw
ОтветитьОчень полезная информация, Спасибо!
ОтветитьYo nice tut! but I still struggle to know the length of each body part in difficult perspectives such as a man is kicking forward in front view. Can you make another video to explain more about that issue ? Thank you !
ОтветитьThank you, SO so much. There’s always been this one thing about my art that I’ve felt was missing and it was this.
I’m a huge Murata fan and I knew there was something in his work (perspective and foreshortening) that I couldn’t put my finger on and it was really bugging me.
I’ll continue practicing this technique, thank you so much for the vid. :-)
Take me as your student master
