😂Very True about jobs. Had an awful boss fire me and tell me he could fire me if he didn't like the color my shoe laces!

This is true about job. I just lost mine founding that another company got contract and no promise new company will get us hired. So tired of those multibillions corporations playing with people life.

Worked for a company that dealt with company credit cards. Any thoughts of gettting one left me within my first week there. Hearing the average debt I'm so happy I live in a (European) country where credit cards aren't the norm.

No dude. Ive been dumpster diving broke. Money absolutely unequivocally does not buy happiness. Money buys options. Reducing stress and makes it easier to achieve sure. But if you chase happiness with your wallet. You will NEVER find it.

Saving 50% of your income is a great way to burn out and become depressed. 20% is more reasonable. You work had for your money. Don't be afraid to reward yourself. Just don't go into debt!

Only thing I can find online about making money through Amazon reviews is that “Directly getting paid for writing Amazon reviews is not allowed by Amazon's policies” So what am I missing here.. lol

Also Love the videos man! You’re super helpful!

It always surprises me that people have no clue about the cost of creditcard debt... how they have no clue what a 20+% interest rate actually means.

Maybe I should unsubscribe from this and other 'money' channels and take action in starting a side hustle. 🙂
Or go the Ali Abdaal route, or find durable habits that do bring mental wealth and ease of life.
Or..
Or.....
Or......

Maybe just become happy with the 9-5 job that brings security.
Any side hustle may stop being a money well

There are some points in your video that are worth doing:
Having a financial backup fund, get out of debt, stop wanting the things your friends, neighbours, boss has

Leave the USA and go live in Europe. I'm living in Europe and the quality of live is much better.

Just my $0.02

I don’t like your one dimensional, cheap view of the world. Got sad listening to this. The life you describe really is sad and empty. Some moderation would do you some good.

Misperception: a “job” means I’m “safe” and I don’t have to hustle, just go into auto-pilot and be surprised when there are layoffs. I have “no control”.

Entrepreneurs are always on the clock….the challenge is clocking-out and enjoying the life you built. The heaviness is “I’m responsible for everything all the time”.

Thank you for the recommendation. I was going to ask if you could do a video about how you balance money with your wife was on board with minimalism and saving money. I am battling with a shopping addiction and I am watching videos on minimalism and telling my spouse about it. Could you give us any tips as couples. Thanks!

Why is that kind of experiment legal and why can’t you come up with another example other than torturing dogs? Even if it was in his book, I would’ve left that out. I usually love your stuff, but if that’s the kind of example you’re going to use I’m not interested. Not only because it’s horrific, but because it puts that taint on anything you say afterwards.

It seems that some people are really disliking your message here. I just want to remind everyone that he keeps saying to follow these steps IF financial freedom is a priority for you. If it's not... THAT'S OK! Some people find joy in their current careers and live perfectly happy and fulfilled lives working until retirement age and following the norm. I'm a teacher, and I fully intend to do this work my whole life. I still enjoy the videos for any small tidbits I can use to improve my financial standings. As Gabe said, money is a TOOL that can provide options and comfort...it doesn't mean that you should be extreme in order to retire early and travel the world if that doesn't seem fulfilling to you. Thanks for another great video, Gabe.
