Hamilton fucking sucks, sincerely someone who lives here. You want to pay $700k for a 900 square foot house that’s full of roaches and bed bugs? Then sure move to Hamilton.
ОтветитьIts a toss up between Toronto and Hamilton for the most disgusting/dirtiest place in canada
ОтветитьThis is a very interesting collection of points... The only miss I found was that there was no mention of the French as a first language schools both in the Catholic and public school boards... Elementary and secondary levels....
ОтветитьCanada is the earth's paradise
ОтветитьPrefer Niagara
ОтветитьYou did an awesome job on this video. I've lived in Hamilton for several years now but you missed the one thing. The locals call it the hammer. Thanks for the video, we really do appreciate it and we hope you have such a great day
ОтветитьHello! I'm getting a Not Found page when trying to visit your website.
ОтветитьIs Hamilton diverse like Toronto? I'm moving there soon. And I'm Latino how's the Latino community there?
ОтветитьI live in Hamilton. It sucks.
ОтветитьSeems that Hamilton should get an NHL franchise, eh?
ОтветитьGlad you showed a guy wielding a snowblourer, eh?
ОтветитьI disagree that the timed lights are a con. Living in a hustle and bustle city like Hamilton we dont have time to get caught at every other light just so you can gawk at a few businesses downtown. We got to get to work or take our kids to scheduled practises etc. If you want to mosey around and shop park your car and go for a walk or bike ride.
Hamilton has been really screwing up the streets over the last few years with their 2way street flips downtown. Its really bogged things down and if the city population keeps increasing over the years its going to.really jam things up.
Fast traffic > Shopping
Too bad no good public transit which means without a car there is no point to even consider Hamilton. How about the air pollution from the big factories ? Now prices are as high as in Toronto so no point to make the move
ОтветитьOk now Hamilton is full of homelessness and lots of drugs. Tents everywhere like literally. This "camera woman" is intentionally misguiding you ppl! Rents are sky high now because of the gentrification from Toronto hipsters living here who can't afford to work in their own city 🙄. They call this city the Hammer for a reason folks...
ОтветитьHamilton is a shit hole
Ответитьcons: its hamilton 😄😄
ОтветитьI like video s pls be in touch good god bless u ...
ОтветитьAre there the invitations for visiting this city Hamilton that is beautifu
ОтветитьIt might be as shitty and extortionate rent as TO.
ОтветитьHamilton geography needs more exposure in this video. The Arts community,Healthcare,Industry,Retail,Education,Technology,Sports facilities and program have a grave disservice in this presentation. All are jewels in the Hamilton Crown. I would stay away from the homeless drug users that are arriviging droves. This is a people issue that all large communuties are facing. There is a lot to present and reveal with video and I think someone with an established historical knowledge of Hamilton with camera and editing skills is needed to make a truer representation of Hamilton. Oh yeah,Downtown Toronto is a 68km drive,Niagara Falls,72km drive,Kitchener 65km. All well within 45 minute arrival time....no traffic. When I think about this video if you are appealing to newcomers.....show more video.....much more video and a schedule of events. I know this is a tall order but I think you can rise to the task. My 2 cents.
ОтветитьLmao, that bridge in the thumbnail was the biggest waste of tax dollars imaginable, I drive under it at least twice daily and bike on the lakefront path that it’s connected to, if I’ve seen 10 people use it in what the last 10 years since it’s been finished? And that may honestly be exaggerated, it leads to one of the most dead areas of the eastern city. It goes nowhere.
And that’s the biggest problem with Hamilton, it’s higher taxes, and the complete waste of those funds for the most part.
Hamilton is built on landfills...straight up. Every hill. Lake Ontario I would never eat from even tho I was born there.
ОтветитьWhile these videos paint a pretty picture it couldn't be further from the truth. Pollution is horrible, the roads are a mess, homelessness is rampant, there's a massive drug problem and crime is way up. Oh, and housing is unaffordable even though most of the houses here are old and falling apart. That goes for the apartments too.
ОтветитьWow, excellent video, as I was searching 'pros and cons' of the growing city :) Thank you
ОтветитьI am 64 I am homeless I live in Hamilton all my life …. I cannot afford 1700 a month a month.. there is a lot of bedbugs and cockroaches in the building and the landlord don’t clean it up…. There is a lot of homeless…. Notice you didn’t say anything but it ….
ОтветитьInteresting, nothing said about the epidemic of drug usage, homelessness, violence and tent suburbs set up in city parks. It has gotten so bad that middle class people are exiting the city; not to mention the lack of political will to preserve and maintain law and order, in regards to thefts and breakin
ОтветитьThe highway 403 entrance to Hamilton, adjacent to the RBG Cootes Paradise Sanctuary/Niagara Escarpment and Pier 4 Bayfront Park is very attractive compared to Toronto.
ОтветитьSad that the water is so polluted. The food is great though!
ОтветитьThe crack heads , homeless people, people begging for money, crime
ОтветитьSuch an informative video! I noticed you didn't mention anything about the weather or fun attractions/nightlife/entertainment, especially for young people (apart from beaches and restaurants). I would love to get more details on those. Thanks😊
ОтветитьDrugs everywere
ОтветитьI’m living in Markham. I just signed my real estate purchase agreement for my first Hamilton home today and have my inspection on Sunday. Thanks for the video! My initial exposure to all of the boarded up shops and houses was a bit of a culture shock for me that I had to work at to look beyond but your video helps me feel it was a good choice.
ОтветитьWanted to move back to Toronto Originally from St. John NB however living in Alberta has become barely affordable I make less that $28,000 per year in OAS And CPP combined so I don't think I can even afford Hamilton, am I right?
ОтветитьVery impresssed with your video & your apparent vast knowledge of the city, + your candid description of certain areas that are not so desirable etc. I will be in touch sbortly -- but am looking to rent not buy. Hopefully, you can help re what area(s) of town I should be looking at.
ОтветитьThe perfect size city. Big enough to have almost anything you need/want, small enough to get from one side of town to the other in 20 minutes.
ОтветитьShould get your facts straight. I'm born and raised and there was over a million people 9 years ago
Ответитьwhat a lovely video ! You completely managed to avoid Downtown Hamilton altogether ! If only it were all the Fairyland you make it out to be !Genuine ? You seem to have completely missed the fact that Hamilton is a big Dirty, smelly Steel town and that most of the downtown real estate is Hundred tear old wartime housing.
Ответить...wow, where is the wonderland presented here? 😂 count me in!
Ответитьthtanks for allowing comments. america and canada needs to boycott steel from china. hamilton is a great place but do to the fact im american i dont know how long i can stay. rent looks too high.
ОтветитьCriminals with Guns, prisoners and repeat offenders , drug addicts and homeless everywhere .. no thankyou
ОтветитьI moved to Hamilton in 1975 and am so glad I did! The botanical gardens, waterfalls and trails, closeness of Lake Ontario, are wonderful and so easy to get to. Day trips to the Niagara region, Port Dover on Lake Erie, or Mennonite country in Kitchener are all do-able for lovely day tripping. Thankfully as an RN 20 years ago my salary was enough to allow me to buy a modest house as a single person, and I paid it off completely in 15 years -- unfortunately housing prices have gone crazy here, but that is true all over the developed world these days. Pollution has improved a lot since the steel mills cut back and we have more health care and other clean industries. Hamilton is still a friendly city, and it won't take long for you to settle in if you just smile and say hello! If you are well educated and love the out of doors, this is the place for you!
ОтветитьMe gustó el video pero hablo espan̈ol. Lo puedes hacer con subtitles en espan̈ol?. Felicidades
ОтветитьNice video. I love this city
ОтветитьHamilton's a s*** hole I moved out of Hamilton 5 years ago into a small village and I love it Hamilton sucks
ОтветитьDo you get many American and English tourists in Hamilton?
ОтветитьThank you for this wonderful video explaining details of Hamilton i really appreciate the time and effort you have put into making this informative video ..the narration and filming is excellent .keep up the good work
ОтветитьThe title of this video should be nothing but cons of living in Hamilton, ON probably the worst place to live in Canada
ОтветитьCorktown????
ОтветитьGood video 😄
