Usually when someone approaches me in a negative way I most likely always respond with “SUCK MY DICK .. BITCH” but uhmm that’s me lol .. Another nice vid! 🔥
ОтветитьI watch street photography videos to hear people stories
ОтветитьGreat energy... The smile makes the difference shooting street, especially using flash up close
ОтветитьOne of best interview
ОтветитьSo the cops had no issues but the "head of security" felt the need to flex like a muppet. Well handled Perry. 🥳
Ответитьgreat video! that "director of security was a total douche bag- he personifies everything bad about "security people"
Ответитьjeff needs to grab a fried cheesecake
ОтветитьThanks, Perry! Thanks, Paulie!
ОтветитьDamn! Perry has probably the BEST temperament for street photography. So chill and non-confrontational. Great edipsode.
ОтветитьLove to see Dallas on this series!!
ОтветитьNever pass up an opportunity to make the Gang Unit uncomfortable lmao
ОтветитьDude is super talented, I see his stuff now and then and always like it.
ОтветитьLove Perry’s work but he’s even a better guy. He’s genuine and kind and also a lot of fun. He’s helped me get closer to people when I photograph on the streets. Great to see him get some recognition!
ОтветитьPerry! What a beautiful being you are! Light and flash and love!!!! You forgot to mention your time in Portland! We love you! So proud of you! TiTa y Mark, fans forever!❤
ОтветитьBrilliant episode, really enjoyed this.
ОтветитьCops escorting someone: "take photos if you want, free country :) "
Security: "you take photo I call cops"
I swear security are so far up their own asses it's not funny, here in Australia I went to our equivalent of a state fair not long ago, police were patrolling as they do and definitely seen me taking photos of people and didn't care, as soon as the first security guard seen us he told us off, ironically using "there's public around in a public space" for the reason of why we couldn't shoot, like bro learn the law before speaking!
Anyway, love Perry's work and attitude, good WT as per usual!
It was so cool to hear Perry talk about the influence that skateboarding has had on his photography. Ive been a street skater for 30+ years and think that street skating and street photography is very similar. Awesome to hear mentions of Goldberg and Templeton as well. Great episode!
ОтветитьThis is what my wife thinks is gonna happen to me everytime i take photographs outside (we just moved out of dfw)
ОтветитьIt’s called dirty for a reason lol an austin tx walkie talkie would be sick
ОтветитьAs a street photographer born and raised in DFW, I hope to get good enough to be on a Walkie Talkie!
ОтветитьFilm was gettin too expensive cuz inflation, so i got a lika Q2 lol
ОтветитьIt was an absolute pleasure to watch the interview with Perry to hear about his life and what he experienced the many challenges that he’s been through. There is a genuine light that shines from him and his humanity. To see how he interact with people, his politeness and warmth was so wonderful to watch. I work in secondary schools when I’m not doing photography and it would be so fantastic if the children I work with could see or even meet somebody like Perry because he could be so inspirational for them.
Perrys view of the world and how precious freedom is was such an important lesson to share in thank you so much.
now a massive perry hall fan! man loved this video. as someone who lives in dallas and does street photography, he’s right. love love love this!
ОтветитьGreat video, love Perry’s story and personality. His photos are great too!!!. The security guard, was a dick though.
ОтветитьAnother remarkable soul. Your eye for taltented and amazing people really is impressive. You were born for this work.
ОтветитьJeff was a jerk. The cop said this is a public space you can do what you want but we can't stop walking. So that's it. Leave me alone jeff.
ОтветитьI really enjoy this series of interviews, and I really enjoy those interviews with photographers outside of NYC. DFW does have some good spots for photography, and going to the Texas State Fair offers a lot of chances at images. I look forward to seeing the interview at your next location, wherever it may be.
Perry definitely has a good eye, anticipates the moment, and gets a great image. His personality and temperament are well suited to street photography.
Who are the 14 people that disliked this? I just don'e get it. This was a great walkie talkie as usual. Perry seems like a good soul.
ОтветитьThis dude is one of the nicest people on earth. God bless him and keep him safe.
ОтветитьDidn't know Gerald Undone took pictures.
ОтветитьI really enjoyed watching this. Maybe you should go and ask Ed Templeton for a Walkie Talkie. Would be rad.
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic communicator! Really enjoyed this.
Ответитьdang. missed you! come back! @cleverdisarray
ОтветитьHats off to you, you maintained your professionalism, I know i would have reacted differently. "Head of security".... hahahaha - go count tickets old man.
ОтветитьThat cops a thug.
ОтветитьPure coincidence that this video was released to coincide with anniversary of the JFK assassination? (Nov.22, '63)
ОтветитьI’m sorry, but if you’re gonna do a episode in Dallas, you should’ve worked with a Photographer actually from Dallas… tired of the vultures
ОтветитьBro cooked
Ответить"My defiant little self comes out in my work" 😂 yeah mos def! Miss you buddy!
ОтветитьThat Q2 is not a "little point n shoot" 💀
ОтветитьJeff thinking he’s Big Tex
ОтветитьWith your DE-ES-CA-LATE-ING skills you should be a police officer who shoots after, not before.
ОтветитьThe eyeball looks like one I photographed at a sculpture park in St. Louis.
ОтветитьAs someone from the area, downtown Dallas is DIRE for photography. The fair is always fun, though!
ОтветитьThumbs down for jeff
ОтветитьWhat a nice dude!
ОтветитьThank you, Paulie, and to everyone who took the time out of your busy day to watch this video. I appreciate you. 🙏❤️
