Some positive to take jota is back but my goodness our defence is hella shaky 🙁

1. Robbo has cost us numerous times this season and should never start a game for us again. Gave Arsenal a gift of a goal against us - Cost us two penalties in a row - Almost brought Madrid back in the game - Cost us two points today singlehandedly.
2. Quansah is like a giraffe trying to find its way back. He has no place on the football pitch at the moment. Playing with 10 men is better.
3. We need a world class forward asap. Diaz typical poor vision at the end could have handed a tapin pass for Salah but what do you expect from a man with 2 assists over a PL season.

We need some perspective here imo. The whole world was against us today and we still managed to get something. Jota being back is massive. We’re 9 clear of city and 6 clear of arsenal with a game in hand. Still a decent lead considering our injuries. Spurs away next is tough but if we can win that then we’ve got an easier run coming up. As long as we’re 5/6 points clear by new year and we make sure we do business in Jan then we can’t complain. We need to get ibou and kostas back asap tho.

With regards to the Diaz chance in the time added on , the pass to Salah is definitely on and Salah is wide open. Your still frame does not distort the picture of that moment. Salah was standing unmarked for maybe 7 or 8 seconds during that whole sequence in the area but Diaz really needs to make the pass first time, which he could have if he had his head up, but he didn’t, he was only focused on the shot. These are the fine margins that can make all of the difference in a season. Having great vision isn’t something we attribute to Diaz.

Regards potential Robbo replacements … his opposite # Robinson would be my 1st pick. Perhaps he only plays that well against us but every time he plays LIV, Robinson looks world class.

Idk man Monts and Matt crashed on Cal TOO HARD, pause. Personally think Cal was bang on about the Trent stuff and let’s be real only reason Robbo has looked worse is because he’s trying to make a tackle, Trent just ghosts and lets Ibou mop up. He’s been better than usual defensively this season granted, but he hasn’t been good imo.

I love Trent and Robbo. I can’t thank them enough for all they’ve done for our club and being main catalysts in bringing us all of the silverware we’ve had in the last 10 years more or less. They will be legends of our club if they aren’t already.


With that said — It is time they move on. Both of them. I’ve known that about Robbo, but I had the epiphany that it’s Trent’s time after today’s performance. One of them is just past their best; the other clearly has his mind elsewhere. It’s time to rebuild.

Robinson handled Salah well, won all the 1-1s. Mo was threat , he got on the ball a lot, he caused them discomfort and he got his A but the fact he wasn’t able to do Robinson even 1x and then missed the big chance to win it makes it a 7-7.5 for me

Totally agree with cal on the Trent point, we all now he is 99% off to Madrid, if that is the case and he’s signed a per contract with them already then how can you have him as your vice captain when he is CLEARLY not fully committed and how could he when he is off in the summer.

I liked nunez sub appearance but guys the pass still required jota to do work to get the shot on goal it wasnt a salah type pass it was a basic pass which jota turned into a goal opportunity. Jota showed what a number 9 should be doing

Gomez has to be LB until Kostas is back. Robbo's issue is he cant play games continuously. I would rotate him with Gomez. We desperately need to sign some CBs in January, Quansah isn't ready and we're in desperate need for depth.
