There are celestial telescopes
And then there are terrestrial telescopes
One is good for the heavens and crap for land based observation.
I have never heard another story of Sasquatch on the Alaskan pipeline. Thanks Chris.

ОтветитьSo close to the top of Shasta?
ОтветитьGreat music! Beautiful pass/mountains/snow !
ОтветитьHey! Can you get any of those long off 1/4 mile shots of you climbing multiple pitches? , . . . No. I wouldn’t either. Your videos are great! Nice work.
Ответить*SHOUT OUT TO ALL OF THE UA UNION PIPEFITTERS THAT WORKED ON THIS PROJECT!!!!! 👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьI like to remind everyone that nobody's ever actually been hurt by a Bigfoot or Sasquatch. The natives here in Alaska consider them the guardians of our forests of our land.
ОтветитьI knew someone who worked on that pipeline. The years stated are very accurate. I believe this story to be authentic. Thanks Chris.
ОтветитьNice snowshoes. I worked on the pipeline from start to finish. My hometown was Fairbanks. I was in several different camps on the slope. The one thing I noticed is the mention of forest and trees that far north. There are no trees north of the brooks range. There is scrub willow and alder and some other brush but no trees. It’s pretty barren. I never heard of Bigfoot up there or anybody seeing one but I won’t go so far as to say there are none. This story very well may have been some 798ers telling stories over prohibited booze up there. Anyway still a fun story and especially for folks that have never been to northern alaska.
ОтветитьJust get to the damn story I don't need a minute if you walking around in the snow overly dramatic music.
ОтветитьChris! Idea: How about introducing some Hard "Spirits". Im just not a beer person...
ОтветитьSamscatch!
ОтветитьCool hike! Those are some fast moving clouds!!
ОтветитьSide note...I worked in prudhoe bay for a co named veco during college in the summer...yes the pay was still good 1988 $12 /hr plus overtime ..free room and food ...not bad back then
ОтветитьAll too real..any cryptid shows now encounters all over the world ..Alaska wld be a huge place for them so much wilderness
ОтветитьIf you ever wonder if the early explorers or the frontiersmen of the 1700s may have encountered the phenomena, read about David Thompson. There is a very good book on his life. He lived from 1780 to about 1860. He was groomed from boyhood, to become a cartographer, and explorer. He mapped Canada. Traveling with a group of French voyagers in about 1812, he was far up in northern Canada when they discovered these huge tracks in the snow near their camp. So they followed the tracks. But after several miles, they turned back. So that is an early documented case of the phenomena.
ОтветитьFirstly, I dig your brand of storytelling. It reminds me of when a kid, my Dad used to scare the crap out of me when we camped. Then I'd beg him for another tale...
This comment is primarily devoted to your penchant for fine beer. All the brands you mention sound quite good, but I wonder if you remember the early 70's, before the boutique beer Era?
This is the most oblique plea I have made in this regard; but here goes. I'm 72 years old, and without question - the finest beer I've ever tasted was the 1970-79 "vintage" Coors Banquet Beer.
It was also Paul Newman's and Geral Ford's favorite beer. The reason is simply because prior to 1979, all Coors beer was UNPASTEURIZED ! When the Coors company ingredients were combined with "Rocky Mountain water"... and UNPASTEURIZED it had a bouquet and finish utter unique to the brand. I've written to Coors, most of whose management hadn't a clue as what I was talking about... and all to a thunderous silence. It turns out that circa 1980, for reasons of convenience, Coors began summarily pasteurized all of their product for process homogeneity and convenience; and their greatest attribute was lost to time as the notoriety of the brand continued their profit stream - if not their legacy.
As all mass brewing companies already pasteurized product, this delightful beer blended in with the crowd. And it's uniqueness was lost to time.
I'm asking you, as a native Westerner, to please verify my research and if you agree to think on ANY friends or family who might have an ear inside Coors - at least willing to put in the heart to seek out this American legend. Pasteurization does nothing beneficial health wise or taste wise. It was rumored to be necessary to preserve freshness; but even this line of reasoning has proven to be false.
Thank you for hearing me out !
God bless,
Roger/Georgia
I found Bigfoot poop. Absolutely terrifying.
ОтветитьI live in New England. Heard about two Bigfoot sughtings- one directly from the observer. I saw a Werewolf personally back in around 2021. There’s ‘stuff’ out there.
ОтветитьIt's rachets down, not "clicks" down! Great shoe otherwise.
ОтветитьHello Chris!! Hello everyone! Awesome video as usual sir, thank you for your dedication.
