Thanks amazing. Very cool. I once wrote a spreadsheet that when the guy I sent it to opened it, a macro triggered to open his disc drive, in which I'd earlier placed a crude drawing of the male genitalia. One of my proudest moments.
ОтветитьChecking date: no, it’s not the first of April… I woud not have believed if I didn’t see it. LOL! :-)
I guess this proves to show that you can use spreadsheets to do just about anything. :-)
(Except for making coffee and pizza ;-)
My favorite spreadsheet? Well, none stand out as your example, so off the top of my head I say… “dice”, a numerical model that calculates the probabilities in sets of non-transitive dice and that allows me to optimize (to a degree) the number of dots (pips) on the dice (imagine every pip is a diamond and you want to minimise the cost while retaining the characteristics of non-transitivity).
When I first tackled that challenge I needed helper tables for when you roll singles and especially doubles. With the advent of dynamic arrays, LET and lambda’s things could be simplified considerably. The need for lambda’s got dropped when TOCOL became available (the first lambda that I wrote myself as well (FLATTEN)). I updated this spreadsheet several times because of this technological evolution.
That was too short, I wanted more, it kind of just ended. . .
ОтветитьUnexpected but nice!
