ОтветитьBro where is the frickin review
ОтветитьI've had mine for 4 yrs and still runs awesome
ОтветитьI have the xiaomi M365 in 2023.I love it, it’s great for me.
ОтветитьGuys, a review needs to like... review the product. Specs, features, tests, actually giving it a shot. Instead this "review" almost immediately jumps into alternatives and spends 2/3rds of runtime on them, and doesn't really say anything about the M365.
I understand the perils of old tech and high-mileage scooters, in a similar vein to cars. But we don't tell people to just never consider buying old or used, one should know what to look for and how it compares (legitimately, with actual specs) to other competition. This is also a complaint that I share with the website, it was too often that I stumbled upon dead links or a new product replacing an old version. As someone that was just introduced to eScooters during the summer and pointed towards ESG, it was very frustrating being unable to read about what I saw in my local used community.
After trying a Lime during a trip, I did end up getting a cheap used M365. It served me well as an introduction that pushed me towards a used G30LP, which encouraged me to try and replace my commute by car with a new Phantom (my city is extremely hilly, my route has a half-mile 20% climb that the G30 just said "nope"). As an environmentalist and money-conscious (but not a cheapskate, see new Phantom), I don't want to buy something new only to discover that I will not put it to good use. Had I not tried out the M365, I likely wouldn't have tried anything else and would be missing out on everything.
Not doing used buyers guides (which can be very useful to actually educate interested users) is a valid editorial decision, not encouraging or even doing awareness regarding issues with old or used products is good. But please don't actually delete old reviews, all it does is create even more confusion as trusted info is lost and people will look it up elsewhere. And if something like this says its a "review", then make sure it actually is one. Had I been interested and actually researching the M365, this video would've been useless to me and would've made me ignore the rest of the channel outright.
I still have my 365. Ride it, love it.
ОтветитьIs the S2 Pro worth the extra $150 over the S2 (S2 is on sale on Amazon for $300, the Pro is on sale for $450)? The only difference is it’s motor is more powerful: 500 watt vs 350 watt, the wheels are larger 10” vs 8.5” and the max distance 25 miles vs 17 miles. I’m leaning towards the S2, but I don’t want to regret not spending the extra $150. Also, the Gotrax G4 is on sale for $450. Between the three which is the best value for the price?
ОтветитьI have the M365 Pro, the 1S, and most recently a KuKirin M4. At my size (6'1/185cm; 102kgs/225#), I needed the M4's 48V/500W rear motor-driven torque/power. The M4 is great for hilly areas (10-15 degree inclines) and commutes (12.5AH battery), and was only CHF440 (~US$500; delivered price) plus CHF31 import duties. Absolutely no regrets buying that M4. I have been able to take it on commutes a total of 2 hours and it will go ~ 33KM (modes 1 and 2, only) on a full charge (from 54V down to 42V). Off road...I've clocked it in Mode 3 at 45kmph; flat surface, GPS speed validated, no wind (as both directions had same result), and ambient temp @ 26C.
As for my trusty M365 Pro (unlocked)...upgraded the front fork to dual shock suspension for about $50. Replaced the stock controller with a new V3 model ($30). SLIME for both front and rear tubes. Silicone sealant for the batt compartment baseplate.
Did the same for the 1S as for the M365 Pro (above)...and flashed custom firmware to improve power delivery on its 300W front hub motor.
I am considering a 350W or 500W motor upgrade for the 1S, with solid honeycomb tire...will see if the current upgrades and modded firmware suffice for my youngest teen. If 500W, then also split rim 10 inch tire for the rear, as well.
Parts are CHEAP and readily available on AliEx. MANY mods and upgrades are available.
I freaking love my Xiaomi M365 !!! So proud to have one
ОтветитьDude you complete missed the M365 replica, which is the Hurley Hang 5.
ОтветитьFront wheel of my Hiboy S2 snapped off on a sidewalk-speed corner. I'm only 170 lbs too. Very dangerous, would not recommend.
ОтветитьI have a Xiaomi M365 that was built special for a trade show, but it doesn't seem to take charge.
It has internal components and battery pack.
It's hard to find a shop to work on it. Any suggestions?
Shout out to iScooter's m365 clones, the i8 and i9 lol
ОтветитьUnagi is 259 WH ffs Max Weight is 220 lbs. Buyed it and had to return it because of your false information!!! @ridgerguide
ОтветитьThat was the child dream come true. Gas and electric scooters tested, rent and owned in 2003-2004. Bird fleet then that. A dream come true
ОтветитьI've had my xioami pro for 3 years now and its still going strong, the range hasnt changed at all and the only issues ive had are a few flats but I still love it.
ОтветитьI have a Freego es08s v1.9 since 2019, it is fast, has suspension and a cool light. It was incredible cheap. The cons: It is not sold anymore
ОтветитьToo bad they don't ship here, but I wish the Gotrax G4 was my first scooter, knowing what I know now. The specs look really good for the price range, and I like the tires
ОтветитьSlow m8....my m365 did 28.2 mph was going downhill...think its broke lol
ОтветитьXiaomi is gonna release a scooter with suspension named ultra 4
ОтветитьXiaomi 365 the style and shape is a awesome but I’m not into portability side o fixed locked my scooter getting a stem head from monorim to put wider bars on it , took the brake light and rear fender why because I can lol looks mean as fark
ОтветитьPro 2 is awesome not super fast but 25 kms is enough to get to bottle shop .
ОтветитьApollo air pro
ОтветитьYou guys really should try kugoo kirin m4 pro
ОтветитьWould the YumeX11 be a good electric scooter to have?
ОтветитьHave you tried sealup Q8 or Q5 or Q1 they have others but these are basically for commuters I want your opinion if you tried any of their scooters
ОтветитьHave you tried se sealup Q8
ОтветитьYou guys should try to get a hold of the gotrax eclipse I haven't seen a review and want to know if it is better than the g4
ОтветитьCan you please drop a review of the Xiaomi 4 Pro
ОтветитьI think that the Xiaomi was popular because it was the best, and highest quality <$700 scooter at the time.
ОтветитьThe niu kqi2 is 🔥 too best on the list
Ответитьget inmotion/lemotion S1 😎
ОтветитьXiaomi M365 Pro2 scooter is underrated for many reasons. All it really needs is a 500 watt motor to make it #1
ОтветитьNiu kqi2 pro
ОтветитьThey are still very popular in Europe. M365 is an old version, the upgraded one is called 1s now. The entry level version is “Essential” (same motor, but 5100mah battery and speed is limited to 20km/h), then it’s “1s”, then it’s “3” (350w motor and 7800mah batt.) and “pro2” (350w motor and 12800mah battery). I have an Essential and I think that it’s the best choice out of 4. Very solidly built, easily upgradable and only one out of the range where you can easily remove speed limit and build a custom software whatever you like.
ОтветитьWell I can see solid tires would be wanted, but for those with nerve damage or arthritis solid tires are a death trap. I want the runflat air tires. Any ride with that already installed is my winner. Suspension wouldnt hurt either. Kerping it street legal is ok too.
ОтветитьAnyone that has hydraulic brakes. Speed is nice but brakes keep you alive...
ОтветитьThe big guy really stepped up his game on this video !!
I have the Aovo Pro and it seems to be a direct clone to the 365
Anything with solids are good, trust me, save yourself a head ache. I can highly reccomend varla pegasus. I have over 1000 miles on mine still going strong. Wide tires are geeat for cracks and small debree as well! These scoots are cool but those tires will get you in trouble if they lock in a crack or crevice.. Also this guy did a great job on this segment, I love seeing his as he is a favorite, more specials with him would be great!
ОтветитьNo etwow s+ or GT on this list, all under $1000?
ОтветитьDon't forget the iron-Air mk93, ( It has not drowned yet :-) and for the modest sum of 77k billion dollars might let it go...
Ответитьyou guys are absolutely legends
ОтветитьThe M365 are still going strong i think at least where i am from. i have the first pro version from the summer of 2019 and i have done over 8,5km on it parts and mods you can find everywhere they cheap and great for what they are for the price.
p.s. lol Paul throwing the macwheel pro in the trash never gets old!! great video like always! :)
YOU GUYS ROCK, BEST PLACE EVER FOR SCOOTER EDUCATION. KEEP ROCKING IT ESG.
What happened to JOE !
I had a UNAGI E-500 way to unstable at any speed. I almost lost it too many times . Sent it back
ОтветитьI own three Vsett9+
Vsett8 and NanRobot D-4 2.0 all great scooters not really covered here
It was never offered in the US at least not for long. tried to buy one new Fluid freeride offers best alternative
ОтветитьXiaomi makes many more versions of their electric scooter than the 4 pro. they also make the 1S, pro 2, 3 and "essential". These are all based on the same platform as the m365 and many of the fun accessories will work with them as well.
ОтветитьAt some point the music should fade out, it almost overpowers the audio and makes 2x watching worse since the music just keeps going the whole time
ОтветитьHi
