Again, I will comment that the brown glue detracts from the overall appearance of the piece. It would be beautiful had the brown glue and some of the poor wood cuts been done with a perhaps white glue, and take a but more time constructing the project at the beginning. There is a lot of time spent putting the piece together at the beginning , then it seems as the maker wants to go from start to finish without ever turning off the lathe. I’m sure he does,but doesn’t seem like it. Just my opinion, but I won’t be watching this channel anymore.

I would reccomend a clear epoxy for your laminations.

I'd say you're lucky you still have your fingers! No splitter?? You're also lucky the wood didn't pinch the blade and kick you in the gut. Maybe clean up and tune up that beautiful old bandsaw too.😬

That's a very nice piece, but I must agree on the brown glue.

Glue gaps are terrible, concept is nice, but need to learn how to machine and glue up timber. I know I have done this for 50 yrs.

What's the deal with clamping that wood in the wrong direction?

Too bad! The shape of the vase is beautiful, but the assembly is bad! The thickness of the joints is too important and the hollowing with a Fortsner drill only, it is not turning! Once again, stop varnishing the objects! It is really ugly! They look like simple plastic trinkets
