It was a normal day at the office when she finally gets a quality opponent and is losing. She makes a spectacle of herself. She should be penalized for unsportmanslike conduct, because she has been acting out like that since the US Open last year. She has performed like that in several matches now. Attacking the umpire and disrupting the match with the angry outbursts. It is disrespectful to her opponent and the spectators. She is a sore loser, who cannot control her emotions and it is getting worst.

This is an international event. Playing certain cards only works in the US, not in the Olympics

here we go, typical whining and crying by cocoa. she loses control and makes a big deal out of 1 point.....the france crowd picked up on the whining as well. Booing. LoL.

I you look at the clip of the event, and slow it down to 0.25 you can hear the ball strike before he calls out. Mistake by the judge for sure but I think Coco might have thought it happened before she struck the ball when in fact it was a split second after the ball left the racket so would not have impacted the play. I feel for her as this event clearly unsettled her and if they could have played it back to her straight away to prove / disprove the issue then maybe she would have settled back into normal play.

So where's the outrage when males question the umpires calls. From McEnroe's past to today's male superstars it appears to be accepted part of the game, but when a female questions their calls she's a big baby. Grow up people, the umpire made a mistake

I can understand Coco thinking that call was made before her swing since it was such a close call. But the call was made after she made contact with the ball. If Coco watches the replay she will understand.

But to use the race card is not understandable. Everyone gets bad calls from the lines person and umps.
