ОтветитьHey Mike, love these builds and this one looks phenomenal as always. The only thing I would say is be careful with those bars. URMOSI clamps already rise the bar mounts, and those tall bars will make the bike handle super weird. It takes a bunch of weight off the front wheel. All personal preference.

ОтветитьHey man just a couple of things I noticed and wanted to discuss/comment on. I recently finished a 450exc build and I can completely agree that the service manual sucks, mine was a 2016. it was a frame up restoration/complete custom build, when you striped your oil filter cover, I felt your pain entirely. It's an extremely common problem on the KTMs, I myself had the exact same hole strip out on me two weeks ago. A trick for anyone out there who's in a pinch, you can use a slightly longer bolt To grab the threads at the end of the hole if you can't re-tap it or coil it in time. The last thing I would mention which is kind of random but be careful of the kickstand. For many years KTM had a pretty terrible kickstand design, I believe on the 24 model and up they've redesigned it. however, you can get some wear and tear on the Mount and the locking screw for the spring system can also pop out and require you to buy a new kit, so make sure you lock tight it up.

ОтветитьThe owner's manual is pretty decent, but I think the factory service manual is what you need for the wiring type stuff. Unfortunately you have to pay for it. For my RFS Beta used that motor and I found all the motor stuff for free with them.
