I have a stool that is "round" and has legs but only below the "seat frame"; the legs do not come thru and above the frame. I tried to wrap one end today but the leg is in the way if a smooth wrap; not sure how to tackle this.
ОтветитьWonderful videos. I’m about to rerush my parents 1970s Magistretti chairs. Great instructions and very clearly explained. Hoping I can adapt the techniques for our chairs. Thank you for being so generous with your time and expertise.
ОтветитьPut u cam om a tripod. Im gettomg seasick
ОтветитьEd you are my idle, your clear and consive tutorial is proof of a true professional. You demonstrate each weave clearly and slowly allowing others like myself to understand and follow each move with ease. Thank you, you mean so much to me and I can't praise you enough for sharing your skills with us all.
ОтветитьUsing natural rush, soaking seem to make it unravel and also finding it difficult holding coil together when passing through chair. Any tips?
ОтветитьEd and Cindy, your tutorial was easy to follow and perfectly filmed to show the details to beautiful canning seats. I am inspired. I am at your web page for Fibre rushes but I am unsure what diameter to buy. For this seat, did you use 6/32
ОтветитьGives me confidence to start on a difficult Magistretti drop in frame. Wish me luck!
ОтветитьBrilient idea. 👌👌👌❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
ОтветитьAbsolutely outstanding tutorial. You are truly a master and I am so grateful to you for sharing your skills and tricks with your audience, thank you Sir.
ОтветитьTendria la amabilidad ,aparte de que es un maestro y un srtista de informarnos de donde consigue la cuerda ,enea o como se llame con la cual teje las sillas gracias
ОтветитьThank you, we need to fix our chair and it is in this exact style! Much appreciated! 👍
ОтветитьExcellent tutorial video, u makit look so easy & inspiring 👍🏻👏
ОтветитьGood morning Ed. I just found your video on how to weave a rush frame. Now I just need to locate some rush. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Also, I don't want that greenish color that you get with seaweed rush. Mine is more of a yellow straw color. Is the color of fiber rush similar to the natural? I understand from one of the comments that it is easier to work with.
ОтветитьExcellent video it help me a lot. do you have any idea how to make it with round iron Chair. ( its all most the same just without tow corners)
ОтветитьExcellent video, thanks!
ОтветитьThere are many rush videos and many bad ones. Yours is quite good. I had to learn the corners that you did in this video and without the video I would not have got it done. Good job and Thanks for your time
ОтветитьThis is the most similar to the seats that I have, Ed. Thanks for the videos of all the different types of wraps. One thing I have learned by watching your videos - other than all the basic techniques - is that there are MANY different types of weaves. It would seem that it has to do with the person that is doing the wrapping more than anything and as long as a person isn't concerned with accurately reproducing the same weave say, if it was for an antique, there really isn't a "wrong" way to do the weaving.
ОтветитьExcellent tutoriel, très utile. Très rare d'en voir d'aussi détaillés et bien expliqués. Merci et félicitations !
Excellent tutorial, very usefull. Rare to see such well detailed and well explained ones. Thanks and congrats ! Cheers from France.
Thank you for such an informative video. I have 6 ladderback chairs that were my family's dining room chairs when I was growing up. They desperately need re-rushing, but are so costly to repair. Your patience and clear directions have inspired me! I'll let you know how I make out. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhat size riber rush do you use for these chairs?
ОтветитьBut...now that I am done, I like the looks of the natural better.....Hmmm.....guess Ill try the natural again. Hopefully my OCD wont kick in because I have four chairs that will be all different !
ОтветитьFiber rush has been so much easier to work with than the natural. I am on my second chair and looks better.
Ответитьi have watched some of your videos and i noticed you might unwrap a little bit to fit. do you ever need to wrap tighter maybe to fit a hole. how do you decide.
ОтветитьAgain, Ed, thank you! The video is entertaining, informative and inspiring.
ОтветитьAs always a great video! Many Thanks!!
ОтветитьHi i'm Sergio from Italy. Great video, thank you so much; i learned how to weave a seat and now i can weave standard seats, but now i have a problem. I have a frame similar to your, but with square corners instead of round corner. Can you explain how to cover this square corners. Thank you!!!
ОтветитьYou really helped me 😊 what do you use frames for?
ОтветитьThank you so much
