Ginger has always been cantankerous and difficult. Why in the F__K would you promise something to him and then not keep the promise? A genius like Ginger doesn't want or need you in his life. Now you go back for a conversation and play it off like it's nothing.

His personality combined with his long term health issues like osteoarthritis and copd would wear down even the most genial types into a cranky cantankerous grump. I found the documentary to show his humanity which he does his best to hide.

At first I thought gingers grumbling was dry humour. But no he was genuinely a miserable git.. God rest you love you sir

Such an embarrassing interview. It was stressful just watching it. Chad has no clue how to comduct an interview. Seemed like Chad wanted to get to interview at all costs before Ginger passes away. So lame amd insulting.

Looking back I always couldn’t understand on where Ginger is coming from, Ginger really played in a rock trio group that certainly made him famous and I say wealthy. I noticed all of Ginger’s interviews he kept raving on about Jazz drummers where he like to think he was part of that fraternity, like Max Roach or Art Blakey, but in reality, it seemed not so taken seriously. Charlie Watts apparently played Jazz on the side, but his mainstream was the Rolling Stones. If anything Mitch Mitchell was more the innovator connecting a Jazz style to rock music.
