You say wash once a week, does that mean cover your beard any other time you're in the shower?
ОтветитьGreat tips! how often do you need to apply oils and balm to your beard?
ОтветитьHad a beard since 2014 and have never used beard oil, balm before. Never done much maintenance on my beard besides brushing it daily with a standard brush or combing it with my mustache comb.
Been struggling with dry skin and red bumps under my beard and thinning maybe the oil and balm would benefit me.
I don't grow my beard long, i keep it pretty trim to my face. It's never been as soft as i wanted. Definitely not gonna use conditioner on my beard anymore!
Does anyone know what happened to this guy?
Ответитьwatching for my husband! I'm super into hair care and he said "can you help me with my beard" 😋
ОтветитьGreat video. Thank you.
ОтветитьI've had a beard for years, just kept it neatly trimmed. Recently I started thinking about doing the handlebar mustache and upon looking into it, here I am... Realizing there's more to facial hair than just growing it.
Anyways, you said you wash your beard twice a week. What do you do when you shower more than twice a week to keep from getting your beard wet?
@beardtube how do you watch your face on the days youre not washing your beard?
ОтветитьGreat video👊
ОтветитьAs a 25 year old without a dad i really appreciate this video man thanks.
ОтветитьI've been growing my beard for almost 2 years now, I can't seem to get the curliness out, I may need to trim the neck line...I just figured I could just let it grow...maybe trim the face area and the mustache, I want to try so new stuff and could use some pointers if someone has the time
ОтветитьDammit man, literally just got shaving my jawline under my beard lol but now I know
ОтветитьI notice that when I don’t wash my beard it’s frizzy AF the next day …. That normal?
ОтветитьGood stuff
ОтветитьMy life changed when I discovered boar bristle brushes.
ОтветитьI'm growing my first beard. I'm 3 months in. I've been trimming the sides, top ,and neckline, but trying to stay off the length as much as posisble (if broke down and evened it up a few times because it got lop sided) I can't find a good morning routine to keep it looking fresh in this awkward phase. When it was tight to my face it was easy I'd keep the cheeks close cropped and had a big chin patch, but now mine is about 2/3 the length of yours without trimming and taking a blow dryer or heated comb to it every morning it looks asymmetrical and awful. I've got an appointment with a good barber scheduled for the 6th month mark. Do you have any basic (non trimming) grooming tips. How to take it from morning mess to looking normal?
ОтветитьMoral of the video for me was that a woman complimenting my beard is most likely seeking secrets and tips for her husband's beard rather than actually hitting on me 😂😂
ОтветитьEqually bearded / experienced chap here and I'm sorry to say that I disagree with you on balms and oils, they dry my beard hairs out over time. Now I just use a bit of Beef Tallow, which is actually doing what you're claiming the balms and oils do. Nourishing the hair with essential fatty acids. Humans contain fats, plants contain oils. Stop putting oils into your body / on your beard. If you try beef tallow I can all but guarantee you'll never put those nasty manufactured products in your beard again.
Don't like combs, I only use a brush.
I shaved to the jawline and I'm done. Man this is harder than I expected.
I can't believe I'm over 40 and I've never gone more than 3 days without shaving.
When do you transition from a beard brush to a beard comb? Do you use them both? Brush for the sides and comb for the length? Maybe make a video for it??
ОтветитьI noticed you said you don’t wash your beard everyday. I work in construction and sweat a lot. I feel like it gets pretty gross after a couple days. Thoughts?
ОтветитьThanks brother great tips.
ОтветитьUse to shampoo and condition my beard, I soon learned that was bad 😂
Ответитьwow what a shocker, all advice was just to sell those products that are definitely not needed
ОтветитьI'm 44 and I just found out about beard oil and beard balm.
ОтветитьFrom a guy who's been growing a beard out for 2 years consistently. Anytime I see someone with a nice beard. I shoot a compliment. It creates a good atmosphere. N if the guy decides to shoot up the place. He'll probably spare you because of the compliment. 😲
ОтветитьHow do wash your beard twice a week if that?? That’s impossible when you eat a lot of 🐱 🥴
ОтветитьAll good tips
ОтветитьHow do you wash your face if you only wash your beard 2x a week?
ОтветитьBro's watching at the beard shampoo twice to make sure he got the brand name correctly. I mean common bro, wouldn't you know it without looking if it "really" was ur daily "not sponsored" product🤔
ОтветитьI have a beard but it’s thin
Ответитьthanks for this, I have had a beard for 2-3 years, its startingto get long, In the last 2 months I went and had my first professional bear trim, then I learned about the oil, Now with this vid I realize the importance of a nice comb, Def checking out those Kent combs, Honestly 10-20 bucks is nothing for something that will last years if treated right. Illl have to check out the balms too, my beard is very curly, and id like to have it more uniform like yours, I think a thicker balm with the brush would aid that for sure!
ОтветитьWhat if you shower everyday? Do you just cover your beard
ОтветитьHearing him say you do not wanna put conditioners in your beard 6 yrs ago to now saying he almost Only putd conditioner in his beard daily!!
ОтветитьShort and to the point. Thank you!
ОтветитьWhen you hittin' those backshots on a lady (or a dude; no judgement), do you tuck it over your shoulder or let it tickle their ass crack?
ОтветитьTo sum up: buy everything anyone sells you about beards and turn your facial hair into 50% of your personality.
ОтветитьNever take beard advice from a man with a trimmed mustache and trimmed cheeks.
ОтветитьI have that Amish beard balm and love it, so I should be using an oil as well? Are you putting these products in daily?
Ответитьcheap plastic combs can also pull individual hairs out and brake them
ОтветитьKeep your face clean, don’t eat too much chocolate or sugary bread, Talk to your beard as you would w/a puppy. Don’t let anyone tell you look ugly, and use beard balm. Say hi 👋 to the ladies; bring them flowers and sing them a song 🎶
ОтветитьThe jawline killed me haha, Thanks for the tips!!!!
ОтветитьDo these same rules apply to a short beard? Due to work reasons I never get to grow out my beard for longer than 1 month. But as it grows it still feels coarse and would like to find a way to have it feeling softer even at a shorter length.
ОтветитьNumber 1. grow a full beard.
ОтветитьTwice a week beardwash is nasty bro. I condition 2x a week with beard conditioner but wash then oil everyday. Mad viking products for the last couple years, they have some great scents
ОтветитьI'm going through my beard journey at the minute and some tips for anyone thinking about or trying to grow a beard.
1. Stop looking at perfect beards on social media. Most men cannot grow perfect beards and will have patches. Don't be put off by the patches, the more you let it grown, the longer the hairs will be and the weight will pull the hairs down and the patches will be less noticeable.
2. Itchiness. This is where I used to give in and shave it down to a number 2. If you wash your beard properly using a quality beard shampoo and use beard oils it won't be anywhere near as itchy, if at all!
3. Everyone's beard is different. We all have different growth patterns. My left side is perfect and my right side has like 3 growth patterns and the moustache doesn't grow downwards but more to the side. Don't be discouraged by the way your beard grows in the early stages. You need to 'train' your beard to grow the way you want it to and behave the way you want it to.
4. Have patience! This shit takes time. There will be times you feel like giving up and shaving it off but you have to persevere.
Making your own balms and oil is super easy and cost effective as well.
ОтветитьIf I don’t have beard wash or beard shampoo what can I use to wash it
ОтветитьWhat are the best beard oil and beard balm?
Ответить
