He just wanted to place his vote for the leader of the Senate, but he was - to his surprise - smothered and interrogated by the press (you can hear him say "and then you're gonna let me vote right?") His lack of happiness or enthusiasm here is likely related mostly to that, rather than being picked for secretary of state.

I'm not convinced he's thrilled about being picked, but I wouldn't take this as evidence he isn't. Also not sure how enthusiastic he is in general, and I'm not sure he loves dealing with the press.

MR is very accomplished... He could end up POTUS ons day, and he speaks articulately in English and Spanish.

The mess the current office is creating, it is understandably overwhelming indeed.

Not big on Rubio as secretary of state. He may be knowledgeable and a good speaker but that won’t win over your enemies. Rubio is weak. Everyone knows that he would never go to war or press the red button if he needed to. You need a power house as secretary of state to maintain peace or all countries will run 🏃 all over you.
