Ive been waiting for this day for a long time. This is going to have a different outcome than what most people think. Its not going to make music producers jobs easier, its going to eliminate them.

There will come a day, if it hasn't already that a band will be able to feed their own albums into an AI program, and it will output new songs, which the band will learn how to play.

And even that will be short lived. People will start having their AI servant create perfectly tailored music for the individual, and there will be little reason to listen to human produced music.

The sampling and inspiration from this is the best thing for me. I be tired AF after a 11 hour shift and don't feel like sifting through samples. Instead, I can think of what type of track I want and have the little push I need for inspiration. Makes it very easy to get to work on production from there.

I am also in the team blown away by the beta version of UDIO. This is crazy on every level.

I don’t care about the business side of this program but what I did love about it is that it helped me make a song about a dog I had that passed away and it made me a personalized song g about my dog that my family can listen to and keep his memory around…I also had it make me and my little girls a song about cleaning our room and house that we can play while we clean the house…can’t say how much I love this and thank you for this program…I hope this channel can keep pushing this, much love

I've heard so many people say that a.i. has no soul, it can't be creative, doesn't understand human emotion. Realize that we are in the beginning phases of all of this. If it's this good now, imagine five years from now! One year from now it will be surpassing our expectations. We just have to accept the fact that computers can do things faster, and better than we can. Have they put mathematicians out of work? No, and they won't put artists and musicians out of work either. They are going to help us create faster, and come up with ideas that we never thought about.

This is alarming. I fear AI will kill creativity, and perhaps more if we're not careful. There is no limit to its range, to its potential. In many regards, AI may be our most useful tool, but diligence is required to ensure it doesn't become our demise. We are creating a golem. The age of the singularity isn't far off.

Aside from the examples in which A.I. plagiarized copyrighted material, every A.I. song makes me laugh hysterically at how terrible they sound! They all sound like utter trash. The performances are tight but lacking I have no recollection of any 90s recording that sounded like Udio. For the real diggers, who know, Udio sounds like dollar-bin records. Who'd pay any more for a rack of crappy songs about "neon lights"? At best, I think Udio could help some music supervisors with tv sync.
