Interesting knife. Probably miles ahead in quality then any actual Emerson Knives brand knife. And certainly no worse in looks so far as utilitarian design is concerned. In my collection. My point of reference for sharpest knives are divided between my Spyderco Sage, Spyderco Chaparral and Benchmade 486 Saibu. Great blade geometry and grid. And all three of those have cut like a laser straight out of the box. As always great job in the review. Always fun to watch a new up and coming review channel grow in their appreciation / understanding of the knife collecting hobby. I love the para 2. But this version is hideous. Full flat grind slices and cuts much better than this will I'm sure. Good review though 👍

I got 2 of these because they are way better in quality than my emersons I have and better steel for way cheaper. It's all you would want from an emerson especially than compression lock makes this knife one of my favorite knife out! Amazing and scary sharp out of the box. Great review 👊

"Cool" and black, but after a few weeks of macho deployment in front of a mirror and a few worn out pants pockets, consider the Yojimbo or Yojumbo if you want a real tactical Spydie. Spyderco thumb "hole" must be the greatest thing in knife deployment....ever. First thing I look for in any knife is if it has a thumb hole.
