oh man, has this been fixed? just tried it :/ Is there a new way to farm now?

Hi, I've been doing this trick in the last week with no problem (about 150+ exp per battle). Now, after the new expansion, I'm only getting about 30 exp. Do you know what's happening?

Sounds really grindy and lame wtf. Why blizz only reward us with 50gold in reward track for a level. I just wanna make decks and play the game.

You get the same amount xp from just spending 10 to 15min in a standard ranked match and winning. I average about 3 to 4 wins of every 5 matches at LEAST. Just GET GUD

How long does this take though? When you think 2500 exp would take 8 hours every day to get 50 gold. How quickly could you hit 400 and stop doing it etc

Lol this trick is trash, 161 to wait an hour?? I GET 180 by doing just a normal ranked game sometimes 200+

Nice idea but I can't alter my life with the idea every 30 minutes of logging into HS, finishing one game and starting another. It's what Blizzard wants and it's always part of the mandatory monetization they want: either you pay or you have to dedicate time (life)

This certainly seems to work but OMG what a boring way to 'play" a game haha. I guess it's something to do on a 2nd device while working or doing another task.
I'd always thought Mercs XP was based on actions taken but it's just time!! lol

And here I thought it was weird, that I would get less rewards for a low-level bounty, when I got myself a drink than for a heroic. They just measure the time spent in battle.

Nice video! Just one question, do you really have to wait half and hour between mercenaries games? Or I am mistaken? I think I didnt understoood it properly... Could you explain it to me again please?

Doesn't help if you get logged out... so you have to stick to your game here.

Most f***ed up thing, that if I play best comps and hardest bosses even on heroic good comp can kill all enemies in one turn and i DID NOT recive reward xp AT ALL. I can literally spend 30 minutes playing heroic to the boss, kill boss in one turn and didn't recive any xp, cause you need to spend around 30 seconds in battle to recieve 5 xp. Blizzard just want you to recive XP for not playing Mercenaries, and did not recieve it for playing best comps fast. GREAT WORK small indie company

So you suggest to spend our life by coming back every 29 min back to the game every day all the year ? This to save 50$ for each expansion? This is the worst salary ever by far !!!!

I've been doing this trick for quite a while now and I'm using my PC to run a bot to do the work for me. That helps me to focus on other things instead of checking my timer.

Mercenaries is close to unplayable on android since months...i farm afk ep but its rly annoying if u need 10 trys to actually enter the Mode and then it crashes after every Match. Absolutly sad that blizzards patches the Shop more often then the actual game performance

my variant of farming - simple mouse recording app plus single-handedly recorded loop of clicks. This BG "autoclicker" buys and deploys random minions, chooses heros, restarts BG, even handles game crashes and popups about opponents disconnects. Of course, it can't climb past 2000 rating, but it beats AFK players, and bothers no one, unlike those pesky Baku warrior bots in constructed. And technically, this is not a bot :)

I was wondering when this exploit would be publicized. I really wonder what the team at Blizzard was thinking when they made rewards track XP dependent on the time taken rather than on the number of actions taken, minions destroyed, and/or bounties cleared.

Great method for people working from home and full time gamers that don't really leave the house. Even for those categories of people this method isn't ideal I bet, i can see it leading to quitting the game as it will make it feel like a chore sooner or later, especially if you're going for the max lvl which is absolutely not that easy to achieve as you're selling it by using this method.

Is 30 min the max increase you can get? Do you get more for higher tier mercenary fights?

Thanks for the trick. This is what got me into playing Mercenaries lol. Now it's my main mode. Last season I didnt hit legendary for the first time in a year bc I was too invested in Mercenaries.

I've been doing this for 2 expansions already... great for F2P players :)

Hot to make Millhouse so strong please help?

Does the party matter besides Millhouse? Should I have Xyrella Samuro to clear the boss, or just retire? Is this a way to level up mercenaries?

I have an idea for improving Mercenaries - allow us to deploy less than 3 Mercs in PvP fights. This would allow us to utilize skills like Neeru's fill the board with imps. In other words change the requirement from 3 mercs to "up to 3 mercs". This would allow additional strategies to utilize powerful abilities with cooldowns. The new requirement would be to have a minimum of 1 merc alive on the battlefield.

Bruh.. who is gonna grind like that, i would need a second monitor and a timer and it would be so tedious.

For a little while i was multi server farming exp this way. I had three windows open, one for each server, two were farming exp/coins while i waited for my opponent to finish reading War and Peace and hit end turn in the game/server i was actually playing on. There must be a soft limit on total time played across all servers, cause I got temporarily blocked from having multiple server/HS instances open for a bit. Wasn't permanent, so I took it as a warning and dont do it as much anymore.

Tbh I just wrote a bot in python and left it to work for me. It can work for hours while I'm at university or just not playing hs XDDD

I find setting a timer for 30 minutes makes the game think you're not playing and log you out, so I do 29m, 30s instead.\

You don't have yo be super precised with 30 min. If you leave the app running, there is a great leeway (over 5 min, even if it disconnects you). And if you close it (not manually but kill the process) you have a minute or 2.

Setting up a timer for 29 minutes really helped me keep up with doing it for hours per day while I'm doing/playing other things or else I forget and only do it once or twice

Yup that's what mercenaries only good for imo, if they nerf the exp gain or even worse remove the exp gain for the track if safe to quit hearthstone after that😆
