Have you ever been in Tryp Cayo Coco? We went 2 times, before huge harricane and after covid. We like it. They have a lot of cats, i always bring food for them, so cute. Resort is very convenient, close to the beach.

Did you go for the second beach, which is so much bigger and nicer?

We just came came back from grand muthu holguin....honestly a great resort but lots staple foods were not available. Ie pasta clams mussels and very watered down coffee. Was it the same for you??

You have to start saying if the rooms have AC or not, that's a make or break deal for people.

Great video cheers. Just got back from Melia costa Rey. The resort was packed over 800 people crazy. For off season lots of food sun and cerveza. You should check out this resort was my second time there. Cheers keep up the great videos. Grimsby Dave

What resort in Cuba would you recommend for a family with two kids? We are thinking of going in September

never really looked at this resort, I know you've been there before but really didn't notice that beach ... wow..... I'd be interested in the adults only section more but as usual, fantastic video :)

I was in that resort in 2018! Loved it! I even had a phone on a wall in the toilet😊. Rooms were beautiful, food was good, amazing ocean. We like walking a lot and this resort was perfect for us. It’s not all adults though so better to come when school year starts. We might consider coming here again. Just waiting Cuba to come to its senses and stop supporting world evil!

I have heard frequently that Cuba is somewhere you do not want to visit. They are under such economic hardship. Food and amenities are very difficult to find. Food poisoning due to trying to lengthen food life. Workers are so saddened by their hardship...they do not care about vacationers.

We (family of 5) went mid May of this year, and caught 7 days of total sunshine. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE is this and its people. No words for the beautiful beaches. We would do beach in the first half of the day, the the pool bar in the afternoon. We love music and the entertainment, so that's what worked for us. Beach entertainment was usually 10am-12pm or 1, poolside entertainment from 2pm to 5 pm. Can't wait to go back when the Kitchen Renos are done.

The lobby looks amazing! We really like the older resorts. Kelly and I really enjoy a coffee while enjoying live music. I’ve never seen an actual proper coffee mug in Cuba. It looks huge! Thank you for sharing this. Ron and Kelly 😊

Great video Mike, love Santa Maria, we use to stay three weeks at the resorts, but the last two years we do one or two weeks, I know Jenny works, but what is the longest you would stay at a resort? Thank you for making this video, beautiful. we went there back in May. The beaches are just breathtaking. The place is so virgin that we saw a stingray a couple of times in early morning as well as starfish. It was also a nice surprise to see you at the airport in our flight back to Canada.

Was there in May, absolutely gorgeous place, great staff! The only downer is the buffet, they should have it indoor, the gazillion flies just ruined it for us. They should have mentioned in the website that the restaurants are closed. Honestly, did not see any renovating being done on them. If they'll open the original buffet place, then, we'll come back. Until then......
