I pushed the Thimble Sholes light house 2 weeks ago.
ОтветитьThat's mortar, not grout. You may need to repoint your brickwork. Highly recommend that you do NOT paint or seal those bricks. Concertrate on making the bones of the structure so it'll last another 100 years, ignore the cosmetic bullshit. Spend your money on ventilation, insulation, and weatherproofing.
ОтветитьThis is a really cool place. You are lucky to be able to do this. Hats off to you!
Ответитьwhy all the stupid emojis and graphics in this?
it doesn't need them - this is great content.
Editing was perfect, hahaha!
ОтветитьI was always told when you're in an old location and paint is thick and flaking off like that then it has lead in it.
Ответить"What country is there, for a man like me?"
ОтветитьI would pull it down and subdivide the water to build apartments.
ОтветитьIf you paid for that I have land in Virginia I will sell you,,,,lol
ОтветитьLooks like it would make an awesome fishing retreat.
ОтветитьSand blast everything
ОтветитьI'd love to live in a lighthouse
ОтветитьLighthouse comes with waterfront property 😂 that should make it very desirable now a days.
ОтветитьThe window in front of the stairs would look cool if it were stained glass.
ОтветитьSo much stripping and painting but at least no gardening
ОтветитьIt would be a lot of fun staying on a lighthouse but in this day and age you would be required to bring back all your garbage and bodily waste etc. Would sure take the gloss of the experience😂
ОтветитьImagine spending the night there, & hearing disembodied conversations from the floor above 😨
ОтветитьMaybe it needs an expansion when there's enough finances.
Ответитьthe camera is constantly shaking wobbling up and down makes me puke
ОтветитьSay where it is. Basic storytelling.
ОтветитьMy dad and I used to take our boat to this area all the time to go fishing.
ОтветитьShouldn't you be wearing a life jacket walking on that bockety landing? Don't seal the bricks, if they are old, they'll need to breathe
ОтветитьLike
ОтветитьI have a picture of this lighthouse on the wall of my grandmother's house if you need references.
ОтветитьLove the Django reference. Please lay off the clown sound effects tho.
ОтветитьI like it good luck keep us posted
ОтветитьSuch an amazing property to own. What a weekend get away.
ОтветитьI hope all that old paint is not toxic
ОтветитьLot of old lead paint to remove.
ОтветитьI wouldn't put in an outhouse. Even a composting toilet would be an improvement.
ОтветитьWonder how much of that flacking paint is Lead Based?
ОтветитьI hate the obvious gen z person who edited this and had to selfishly make some weird joke or funny cut-to every twenty seconds. Just let us enjoy this dope lighthouse… that’s why we’re here… not for the twenty year olds humor
ОтветитьMy lighthouse is way better than that
ОтветитьYou can get excellent sealer for brickwork that dries clear
ОтветитьI hope you have deep pockets. Good luck.
ОтветитьAs an architect I applaud (and thank) you for including floorplans while you are doing the walk through.
ОтветитьA fool and his money!!!
ОтветитьWho's is here from some guy on tiktok
ОтветитьI am like this job
ОтветитьGive me this job
ОтветитьHello, how are you? I am the captain, I want to work in this house
ОтветитьOk so "first time out to the light house " so they basically didn't really know what they were buying without actually seeing it 🤔 yep trust those pictures on the internet that has extreme amounts of scams at lest this lighthouse exist thats a plus but me I never buy anything without seeing it first
ОтветитьYou definitely need to be motivated to restore it
ОтветитьYou got burned.
ОтветитьOne good thing about offshore lighthouses, is that you'll never find spiders!!!
ОтветитьWhere is part 2??
ОтветитьThat was a fascinating video tour; I loved Rich’s amazing, positive attitude to the condition of Wolf Lighthouse; to a laymen it looks like a lost cause, but to a restoration expert it is well worth saving… I am wondering how much to restore and how many hours (because it appears to be astronomical) and what condition is the pillar the lighthouse sits on
ОтветитьGod I would love to help!
ОтветитьI would do a recreation room and a kitchen!
Ответить
