A astonishing Netflix series. So much revealed to show how transparent the 'auction' process is YET what I see is huge opportunities to manipulate the bidding & prices. It's almost like a Vegas magic show, stacks of distraction but keep your eye on the way the bids are displayed. And then you have the bids coming in from left of field.
ОтветитьTengo unas tarjetas de futbol americano del 96 k me dicen cómo se las puedo hacer yegar
ОтветитьCringe
ОтветитьThese dudes are so awkward 😂. On a serious note, seems so scammy. Beanie babies? Really?
ОтветитьThe truth is that I really liked it, I felt it was very new and with a very different style from, for example, The Price of History or any other sales or collectors item. They present new faces, and I saw it in a single day. Recommended 👍
ОтветитьOK. As a collector dealer for decades myself, I have big issues with the show. But mainly I find it very hard to fathom that any collector of vintage sports memorabilia, with items anywhere from 20 to 100 years old ( as with the Celtics tank jersey ) why such a person would keep them on wire hangers. What is anything on a wire hanger let alone 100 year old piece of woolen clothing? Wire hangers for the dry cleaners, that’s what they give you to bring your clothes home because they are cheap. You’re not supposed to leave them on those cheap nasty, thin wire hangers. It’s crazy. And also it seems that each episode revolves more around collectibles that were created as collectibles rather than actual true vintage items that have stood the test of time. With the exception of the music memorabilia like the Hendrix boa, but even that didn’t bring very much as compared to the ridiculous amount of money that some people are paying for sports trading cards that are made for the purpose of duping people into thinking they’re valuable. It’s not the card that’s valuable it’s the idea behind it that sells and upsell’s.
ОтветитьWhy did they end it on a cliffhanger? What if there won't be a second season?
ОтветитьConfused on the Steph Curry Card???? The employee was hoping for at least an 8.5? Wtf? PSA hasn’t done half grades in a very long time! So is the guy that dumb or the footage is ancient... or??
ОтветитьBasically (another) copycat of the show HOLLYWOOD TREASURE on Syfy
ОтветитьRonaldo and Messi and Beckham and all the greats do not sell their most memorable game worn jereys they keep them or they give them to charity.
ОтветитьSeems very problematic to have Karl Malone on the show after what he did to that poor girl! Shame on you all.
ОтветитьThis show makes you LOVE RICH PEOPLE and LOVE EVEN MORE NEVER HAVE TO WORK A DAY IN MY LIFE RICH PEOPLE'S KIDS..FOR REAL
ОтветитьMonkey business
ОтветитьThe (Sir) Lewis Hamilton card sold for almost a MILLION!! That's the ALL-TIME record for F1 cards!
ОтветитьIt was a fun show to watch, but like many other workplace reality shows, it feels like many of the situations are overly scripted. It's an interesting look into a world of hoarding, obsession, gambling, and people that don't know what to do with their money. Looking forward for season 2!
ОтветитьSo, you've got some of the most rare valuable shirts in history, one of them over a hundred years old. On shitty little thin wire hangers? Seriously? In plastic bags that don't even cover the full garment. Is this just some made for TV BS?
ОтветитьI enoyed it!
Ответитьto bad there wasnt longer season especially with with baseball collection
ОтветитьIt's like vanderpump rules runs a pawn shop. Cool items but the people are so douchy its tough to watch.
ОтветитьSo scripted it makes me sick.
ОтветитьI love this show.. makes me feel bad i didnt save alle the kobe bryant rookie cards growing up. Kobe bryant. Anferrnee hardaway. Stephon marbury. Tracy mcgrady. Paul pierce, allen iverson, glen rice, reggie miller and kevin garnett was some of those i enjoyed collecting and trading into.
Topps finest refractor card. 1996 kobe bryant rookie.. I had this card in my collection 😅
But none the less. This show makes me want to go back into trading cards even though im now 40 😅 its not for the chance to strike a lucky card alone.. but being able to set a goal and accomplish it.. thats the real excitement of collecting.
Ken takes it up the ass.....just saying
Ответить12 Pack still looking hot af
ОтветитьTenho uma blusa usada pela equipe do Michael Jackson no morro dona Marta aqui no Brasil rio de janeiro será que ela pega essa blusa raridade 😊
ОтветитьWill there be another season
ОтветитьWhy does this scammer get a show?
ОтветитьJust watched the first episode & something just seems off or phoney. No one seems to talk normally & everyone seems to constantly have puns or zingers & are generally over animated like it’s heavily scripted which makes it seem less than genuine but I could just be over cynical??? 😂
ОтветитьWhere's season 2?I need to work as an agent!
ОтветитьThis guy looks like jeff bezos
ОтветитьJust going to drop my IMDB review here in the naive hope someone can save some time by not watching this.
Here you go:
In my opinion this is everything that's wrong with current TV and I'm thoroughly stunned this has anything higher than a 3/10 average. One must be very, very gullible to interpret this as "reality' TV - yes I know, 90% of reality TV is somewhat staged/guided along the desired route. Yet this programme takes it that much further; I've put in my years hunting little gems and this is simply not how it works.... at all.
Every mild disappointment is countered with the find of a lifetime. Always with the pros or just anyone affiliated with any part of the item's history right there when it's found. Conveniently, these showstopping items are found in places where 98/100 customers would have also noticed them and bought them. I could go on but any second spent on this idiocracy is one too many. If I'd like to see better acting I'd honestly rather watch MMA fight intros, and for better storywriting I'd rather watch the teletubbies. What a joke, the world is broken for this to even air, let alone get such high ratings..
Oh and when you stage everything anyway, maybe also take some items that are not in the sports field, as there's a vast supply of history/topics to choose from.. oh wait they don't sponsor your *%××!#@
When will is season 2?
ОтветитьI watched 5 minutes of this proram and it made me sick.
All these self proclaimed “collectors”, let’s call a spade a spade, are just glorified PAWN BROKERS. Same family as LOAN SHARKS.
They give you pennies on the dollar for your item, then up the their selling price for your item, by at least 500-1000%.
The most aggravating part is, yes they do wear regular clothes, but they present themselves as honest 🙄and usually wear super expensive jewellery like solid gold necklaces, bracelets, watches, rings ear rings, whatever, purposely to show off.
Hoping we get more episodes!!!
ОтветитьLoved it, will there be a part 2?
ОтветитьOk
Ответитьyou suck jordan is better than lebron's screamer

aka the victims of capitalism
ОтветитьWell, first episodes kind of b s... Dragged on. Was excited when I heard about this and started watching the first episodes..omg. Cool stuff but wow... So much filler for show and its poor show
Ughhh. Episode 2...also Soo much bs/glamor show. Still, Cool stuff when you actually see it and it sells. To each their own.
I love this show, it's entertaining AND wholesome, that's a rare thing nowadays.
ОтветитьWell season 2 started and I have to say his daughter is dumb as rocks.
Ответитьnot for nothing, but that young kids talking about he can’t take off his blazer and they don’t like going to basements to me thats disrespectful.
Ответитьjust remember this, you don’t know what the next man has and what kind of collection he’s holding back and the day it comes out just because that kid made the comment he made. They won’t do business with you and there’s a whole bunch of us. That got some crazy stuff, and I’m confident about it and I’ll go somewhere else
ОтветитьCan someone explain to me how you sell a 2009 Stephen Carry tops card for 170K and theres a bunch on ebay for a cupple of thousand in higer grades.
ОтветитьI have old baseball, basketball, football, Nascar cards, and so league of there own female baseball card signed by her.
