This is my favorite scene from Family Guy because is very relatable because everyone have a movie that we don't like but everyone say is the best movie ever made

you know, The Godfather (1972) being a masterpiece aside, I can't stand it when people list the cast of an overblown movie I don't like as if that's gonna magically change my mind, for instance Caddyshack (1980) I felt that the characters were stock, the humor was very mixed, sometimes hilarious, sometimes dull and the pacing was painfully slow, tragically this was a film I LOVED as a kid, I watched it constantly but when I rewatched it about 2 years ago I was shocked by how soporific it was.

To be honest, I also didn’t like it. I usually like slow burns and movies that take their time, but man my ADHD cannot with that movie. I was just bored and didn’t get invested enough in the characters to tough it out.

Maybe I’ll give it another watch one of these days but I’m glad it’s so influential for others

Yeah, I also think Godfather and Godfather 2 are ridiculously overrated. I mean almost every other scene is someone trying to intimidate Michael Corleone and then Michael outintimidating him back because he has both omniscience and plot armor. Not to mention that it spawned an entire generation of 'mobster with a heart of gold' archetypes.

I honestly agree completely with Peter to all his points in this moment.
