After enabling 'ProRAW & Resolution Control' - why did you choose ProRAW MAX as opposed to HEIF Max? Doesn't HEIF Max give you a good balance of using the 48MP sensor, being able to use Photographic Styles but not 'having' to edit your flat ProRAW photos before sharing?

If you select HEIF RAW for photos @ J-PEG XL, you still have the ability to get 48mb raw files while also having the option to use photographic styles. Also the file size drastically changes to a small format yet still obtains enough information as long as there is good light to edit. I’ve done side by side comparisons of ProRAW Vs HEIF RAW and I can not tell the difference from my perspective.

anyone figure out why the 48mp photo mode doesn't seem to work.... it sometimes reports 48mp and sometimes it 36mp... 12mp... 9mp... no rime or reason.... its crazy

No such thing as iPhone having a 48 megapixel lend option. All it does is upscale the image from 24 mp to 48 mp when you take photos. It’s not true 48 mp, let alone, a 24 mp because it still has the 12mp sensor. Stick to 24. Do your research.

You skipped over “Prioritize Faster Shooting”

It’s impossible to set your photographic styles on a 16 Pro the square is way too small. And also those photographic styles are simply glorified filters. You are better off editing your pics on Lightroom App.
