In response to what to do about the seat in the wrecker,as good as you are at everything else. You should keep your eye out for an industrial sewing machine and just restitch covers for your projects. Really nothing to it especially if you have a old cover for a pattern

A good idea for a seat with a big hole in it is spray foam, fill it in and slap the cover on there before it expands. Or just use some duct tape and got over it so that when it does dry its level with the original stuff, then Let er dry then head to town

Where did you get the dash carpet and how does it fit? I just bought a 85 Chevy C30 wrecker with a Holmes 440 Hi Power mecanical boom and Holmes Sonic Lo-Side bed that was used at a local service station and also the familys circle track till the track shut down in 2015. Im fixing it up but keeping it original on the outside since its clean but the interior needs redone but for now i wanna just cover the cracked dash while i do other work like a tune up and fix the hydralic century wheel lift

Chris..A trick with a squealing fan belt, is to get the glaze off the running surfaces..whilst engine running, hold a round file on the V surfaces of it..I understand this belt was maxed out on adjustment
