Ok now ive seen the entire video, and ya, maybe crock was too strong a word but still. Only about 30% of this information is useful. The rest is generalization , misinformation, MISSING information, personal opinions, and just a general lack of understanding, as someone who's dedicated a large portion of their life studying their very own heritage throughout the americas, im really disappointed i have to say

Briliant presentation, I like Dr. Casagranda quote at the end regarding the take on the Mexica on the Spanish, "You know your people suck when the people doing human sacrifice have never seen such evil before!" LOL

The lecture is interesting but I have to make a correction about how we spell Mexico. We say Mexico as /m//e//j//i//k//o/, exactly how he said we don't do it. If anyone native says "Mexico" as /m//e//h//i//k//o/ we would assume that has some kind of problem. (Sorry for using the spanish phonetics)

I'm seriously enjoying the lecture......but please , you need subtitles/graphics/CLOSED CAPTION/SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!! some kind of visual literature. How is this scholar talking to a crowd saying words like "xhloqyutan"or whatever TF OVER AND OVER and we're supposed to just nod and follow thru. Seriously I wanna listen/watch but I need SUBTITLES for the Aztecs words man .....please !!!

Sir .... Aztecas is a Nahualt word .... Aztecah and it was used by the indegenous people to named the civilization that came from Aztlan...wich they called themself Mexicas .... I'm from Chiapas and there are still a lot of nahualt speakers so the etymology of the word Aztecas it not because of US antrhopologist getting confused what you said about the origins of the word sounded a bit off for me sir, excuse me for correcting.

Ahora que se dedica a cosas políticas está de súper flojera ojalá algún momento puedan regresar a este tipo de videos aunque debo entender que hablar de política mexicana actual ha de generar más tráfico en fin felicidades por los vídeos del pasado
