If that had a butterfly logo on it the price would be $350. So this feels like a steal.
ОтветитьI don't know if you could do a budget version in aluminum. The thin aluminum will 100% shatter into 1000 pieces immediately upon handling. 😂
ОтветитьSomething this thin and light is awesome for gym shorts, sweats, house pants, etc. Also, I don't think this would work in some other materials like G10 or CF given how thin the scales are. There wouldn't be enough material for the scales to be tough enough- could break from being thin. Aluminum - maybe, but it might bend easily.
ОтветитьVery very good 👍😊
ОтветитьAnyone knows where I can get the custom scales he has on his Ritter Houge?
ОтветитьI came here after KnifeCenter's video about thin pocket knives & everyone in the comments mentioning this one.
ОтветитьVosteed is KILLING it!
Oui loik thit knoif! Im not crazy about how the build screws as i call them or body screws as most call them, thread into the opposite handle scale rather than a seperate (and replaceable) nut or corby/Chicago style threaded insert.
Thats a rather cheap and chintzy style of construction.
Ditto for the T-6 build screws that secure the cartridge liners/frame. I get why they chose to use them, but Id prefer to have larger, stronger and less likely to strip T-8's even if it detracts from the knifes aesthetic's, which i dont feel it would.
Good looking knife either way. Oui deeg eet.
Looks like that one knife, can't remeber the name, but it's a magnetic design. Oh winter blade. That's it
ОтветитьSold out on their site. Anyone else have these available?
ОтветитьVostees has a lot going for it, but they put deep carry clips on knives that are not even deep carry because of the position of the pocket clip makes no sense. Also, their square slot for their thumb stud area is unattractive. Those two things made me pass on this one.
ОтветитьIs this $522, oh wait, no butterfly on it.
Ответитьlooks super comparable to the Demko Shark Cub too
ОтветитьI wanted one as soon as I saw this. Can't find it anywhere. 😢
ОтветитьLike it or not, it's just out of stock already 😅
ОтветитьWhat kind of scales are on that hogue deka ??
ОтветитьCongratulations for the Chanel but, I'm sorry, but most of the knives you review are out of stock.
ОтветитьThe spacing between the blade and the liners is just as excessive as every other factory knife. Kinda sad.
ОтветитьWould much rather own this knife than the Benchmade narrows
ОтветитьThe narrows killer
ОтветитьIn my experience when you cut cardboard with really thin blades they tend to get stuck in the material. Thicker blades have a wedging effect that thinner blades might not.
ОтветитьI own one and like it but not as much as my Narrows.
ОтветитьI like this one. I have an aluminum bugout that fills the roll though
Ответить*Sees picture*, Yeah that is thin.
Sees knife compared to bug out Holy Sheet!!!😳
I live in the $100 to $150 zone. This knife is priced right. Thanks for the video MC.
ОтветитьI just my demko ad20.5 slicer version for 109$ and it just arrived yesterday but maaaaaaaaan that thing is fun and slicey, super light and thin
ОтветитьI needs to be mentioned. The Narrows has a completely different locking system. It doesn’t use cartridge liners.
ОтветитьThe only time this type of knife makes sense to me is if you are hiking/rucking and counting oz’s.
I loved my bugout until I nearly washed it. Now, I have to be very intentional about keeping my knives in their spot.
Looks kind of like a James brand knife, just without being gay. Very cool
ОтветитьI'm a big fan of efficient use of space, so this design really works for me. This would fit great in slacks (not that I wear slacks that often, but still)
Ответитьbest Extremly thin. a french Douk Douk
ОтветитьDecent price, lately prices are insane. My para 2 was $119 from Ag Russell circa 2014. Exact knife now, $199. Huh?
ОтветитьGreat knife, it’s my new EDC. Springs are strong but it’s a blessing and a curse. The triangle lanyard hole is a little sharp and I notice it when I fidget. Not terribly noticeable though.
ОтветитьThe smaller screw near the middle of the handle is intended to be lower profile and out of the way so that it is not annoying to hold. The Bugout has a similar differentiation in that the screw in the middle of the handle is smaller and lower profile even though the Bugout is all T-6.
ОтветитьBiggest benefits of slim knives is comfort in pocket. Not a big deal if you are just running to the store, but if you are going to the movies or somewhere you'll be sitting for awhile you'll definitely appreciate having a slim knife over something like a Coldsteel. I also enjoy seeing how far engineering and design have come when it comes to extremely thin knives like the Parallel, Narrows, SOG Access Card, Schrade Sleight, and etc.
ОтветитьThey just need to make a version with MagnaCut, Vanax, S90V, or 3V.
Ответитьthat blade shape is spot on.
ОтветитьUnfortunately I'm unable to purchase it because it comes from Hong Kong and my bank doesn't allow transactions from there.
ОтветитьI think this might actually be thinner than a BM Narrows. If I'm reading the specs right on their respective websites.
ОтветитьIm surprised you still have that dolphin wrap. Looks good tho
ОтветитьI would prefer a western tanto. but I like it.
Ответитьwould be cool to add talon grip tape to the scales.
ОтветитьA gentleman's knife with tactical characteristics.
ОтветитьRunolfsson Loaf
ОтветитьShaun Skyway
ОтветитьSo thin it looks like it would cut into your hands while using, the entire knife is a "hot spot".
ОтветитьMe like!!
ОтветитьDoes anybody else who owns this knife love it and also wish that they would make a larger version that's about an inch longer?
This one is a bit too small for me to want to carry at work, but if there was an 8-inch version it would be my EDC for sure.
I'm hoping enough people agree with me and vosteed produces it.
Thanks for the great video. I had to scour the interwebs to find a store that had this in stock, and I jumped on it (especially because the Benchmade Narrows is way too pricey for me). You are dead-on correct about the difficulty in closing it, and I do not love that; but I do love EVERYTHING ELSE about this knife! Perfect size for me and great price point for what you get..
