I agree with Sam Seder’s interpretation of this interview. I think Kill Tony was roasting Maher to his face and Maher was just too arrogant to notice. An example, when Kill Tony said, with obvious false exasperation, that someone would have to be deranged to compare someone to Hitler or label someone a Nazi. Tony knows full well that Maher had been using that playbook against Trump and his followers for years.
