Was you on the holly creek side or jacks river side i hunt the holly creek side

Ive never hunted public land before, think you would mind kinda giving a general idea how it works? Id love to take my son on an actual hunting/camping trip but wasnt really sure where to start. Anyway looks beautiful up there.
