California to The Gambia 2020

This is a series of short educational videos about independent filmmaking.
.pdf files were also emailed for the students to look at via WhatsApp.

The Gambia earned it by their participation in The African Film Festival and Rootflix 2020.

We have started a Mentorship program with independent filmmakers there and Fulton Film Company. We are teaching Gambians to earn income using the internet, and the resources that they DO have.

The African Film Festival 2020 was streaming on Rootflix this year, and GAMBIA stepped up!!! They had over 300 shares combined on social media from their country.

This is very impressive because it helps other filmmakers!! This is a selfless act. All other filmmakers who had films in TAFF greatly benefited by this effort.

This is the type of love and support shows us the EXAMPLE of being a good indie film supporter. Lead by example. Thank you DS and ML!

If we want people to support us, we should do a better job at supporting other people.
