When I was 19 yrs old I backpacked across Europe. I grew sooo much! Kids learn when you let them spread their wings. So many helicopter parents these days are creating snowflake kids who can't handle life's stresses and challenges. It dies my heart good and gives me hope to see young people learning life lessons by experiencing them. I wish even more kids could do this. I want to win the lottery and take kids on trips like this. As a high school teacher I see them just buried in screens all day. Love this. Thanks for sharing! Memories to last a lifetime!!

This is what happens when you don't know anything except for your boat life. Anything outside is unknown for you. You were lucky you were in Switzerland that is safe. You travel but you don't know the names of the places you go. And the only thing that you have left is social media. Living a virtual life is very lonely. Then you don't know how to live a real life.
