I solder. I've gotten fairly decent with it. I've repaired consoles and also the board for a clothes dryer for my parents. They thought they were going to have to buy a new dryer, until their favorite son came in and saved the day, and a few bucks
ОтветитьVery nice job! Your solder work looks just as professional as your video.
Ответитьhe makes it look easy
ОтветитьVery Nice video Paul! - One thing that maybe you could add/include in this or your next video is iron temperature. When soldering on circuit boards, especially on very small pads you don't want to do any damage or lift pads completely. Also, i forgot to mention, I appreciate the video quality of your tutorials. May I ask what you are using?
ОтветитьIll be doing a video called "tips and temps" talking about when to use what tip and what temp! Thank you for your suggestions!
ОтветитьThis makes my next job seem a little less intimidating. I have a Modbo 5.0 that I want to install on my old PS2. I've done some soldering with music equipment, replacing pickups, input jacks, so on and so forth, but I've never done it with a game console and to be honest I kinda suck at it. The thing that has me a little concerned is that some of the points that need to be soldered are extremely small...
Ответитьgood intro :)
Ответитьyou are so clever :P
ОтветитьI don't yet own a solder and tin for it but I want to try new things and learn new skills. Thanks from your soldering videos. 👍👍👍
ОтветитьWhat kind of solder and flux do you recommend?
ОтветитьThe soundtrack is my favorite part of this video. 👍🏻
Ответитьvery informative, and the close ups are a plus. I'll be sure to check out the rest before I jump into some practice on donor boards. Thanks for the detailed video!
Ответитьwhere do you stand with soldering? do you want to try it? do you solder already? are you never going to try it but like learning about it? let me know!
