Still, for the price of admission, then the additional price to acquire full performance, I just cannot justify it to myself. Add to this the mentioned subscription requirement after one year?
I'd need more outright speed from it to justify purchasing it, and having to spend even more to keep full use of its tech, no thank you.

For a decent amount less there are traditional moped style bikes on the market which are lighter, more nimble, higher voltage/higher overall speeds, and still leave you money for a second battery and lunch. They would also draw less scrutiny if you chose to use them on a bike trail.

Bike is not worth it. THERE ARE FASTER AND CHEAPEER ALTERNATIVES.

nice review but the hill climb test is flawed. you're using your feet and you're going up a steep incline after already hitting 25 mph so the bike isn't showing its true torque specs. start on a 12% grade at a dead stop with no foot power to see how capable it is.

Good video That is a nice looking bike I just wished it had an off road mode with more top end but it seems like a solid buy .

For the size of those batteries the capacity is very small. 48v was a terrible decision. Should be at least 60v.

So you can't just plug in the bike and recharge it, you have to take all the cables off to do it, bad selling point?

I appreciate you trying to test both single vs dual batteries. But the only thing that bothers me is that when you tested for single battery, did you take the second battery out? Because if you didn’t, the single battery would’ve compensated for the second battery’s weight on the bike. Henceforth lower torque numbers and slower 0-30 mph. Like I mentioned on Reddit, great looking bike 🔥🔥 Too bad even with dual batteries it’s still only tops less than 35 mph and maybe even slower with riders over 200 lbs.

Please test their claimed 0-20mph in 2.5 sec

Segway is literally scamming people. dbl power for a 2mph gain and only like 60nm of torque. that is sad!

0-30 in almost 10 seconds full throttle and pedalling is not good bruh, 0-30 in over 5 seconds is really bad for an ebike on the road. Not everyone is gonna want to spend another probably 500 bux to get the extra battery

its take me 2 hours to install together i hate Segway almost all bike go in parts to install it but i tell u its crazy now start like a racketyea this bike wants go more faster then 35 i fill its can go 45-48 its asking that to go faster they need unlock it to 45mph its can go that-then that i love it so much super 73 crays

It’s disappointing to see Segway implement a pay wall for certain features. Customers already paid thousands of dollars for this bike. It should come with all features. They’re pretty much copying automotive companies business model of having dumb subscriptions for features in their cars.

I recently went to Turkey to buy an empreinte multi pochette. They showed me a pack of kisluxs and it looked exactly like this. The texture was no different, the color and appearance was the same, I think I will enjoy buying here in the future.
