Why do you lie. We know Egypt is much older We also know about the places in Iran who buried sites 10,000 years ago. This nonsense is getting old

If a human finds a pen, at first she/he write her/his name. So I think that happened to this guy.

The first pharoh menes may just be the mthological propoganda used so often.

To claim authority could be bolstered by claiming decent from some anchient king or god figure.

Immortality comes in two forms, having descendants and having your life remembered. Having descendants is great as such but you will not be remembered for who you were, think of Cheddar Man. It is when part of your life is remembered that you have some degree of immortality though fleeting, as nothing lasts forever. Eventually most people become little more than names from the past with no idea of who they were.

We don't know for sure that yhe slabe was treated horribly. Many roman slaves were not. There were many forms of slavery in yhe past and it was super common. Let's not implant our current culture and ideals to the past, it will blind understanding of the past when we yry to piece it together. Even describing their society from milennia ago puts filters/obscure our understanding.

Homo Sapiens (our species of humans) are about 300,000 years old. Yet we only have records of the last 5,000 years. So it took roughly 295,000 years to figure out how to write.

I think you are vastly underestimating the number of people who were ever alive at 100 billion.

Let's just take Mayan civilization as an example. Active for nearly 500 years. 5 generations per 100 years, with a peak population of at least 10 million.

Doing the rough math and accounting for the rise and wane of civilization being less than 10 million population, I've conservatively coming up with just the Mayans having had a population adding up to over 10 billion for just the Mayan in a 500 year period.

It's a very interesting and educational video, the only thing I'd improve — don't make interviews with metally ill people who write "she/her" in their name.

I want to fade into the earth in some quiet spot and join the forgotten in their peace.

Total sidenote but the cave painting with the handprints in the beginning have been confirmed to not be human handprints.

They are in the Cueva de los Manos in Argentina and are about 9,000 years old.

Study of the prints show they most likely belong to “baby lizards”. Make of that what you will
