I don’t like racists but oddly agree with some of Steve Bannon points, H1B visas should only be granted if an American citizen (of all races) cannot do the job! I’m not against H1B visas but the program is abused with mediocre people and needs reforming to attract only exceptional talent! Right now lots of layoffs in the tech sector! exceptional talent means better than an American tech worker with a Masters Degree in Computer Science from a reputable university!

H1B Visa is solely for employing a cheap compliant labor force by import replacement of American born, equally skilled professionals, who want decent remuneration and will stand up for their rights!

Solving the H1B visa issue is very simple. It will cost companies $50 to process a new visa, $25k each year there after and they must be paid $175k minimum. If that’s too expensive then they really aren’t that important and companies can hire an American.

American corporations have been abusing the H-1B visa program since the early 1990s. The program allows corps. to hire foreign workers at a fraction of what they would pay American workers. Disney made national headlines when they were caught forcing their American tech workers to train their foreign replacement to do their job at the threat of losing severance pay. The truth is that there are plenty of trained American workers to do the difficult tech jobs but the H-1B visa program makes it too easy for corps. to undercut and leave American tech workers out in the cold.
