I remember years back you mentioned that type of battle of young guy vs young guy has its pros and cons. Was curious on your take on the pros and cons on the this.

Playing Caicedo and Lavia makes us look flat both dont help in the attack I think Enzo is very very important and I think Santos is an Enzo type of player a midfielder can can offer offensive threat so maybe caicedo and Enzo the back up Santos and Lavia/Essugo

I agree. LW is still the priority with backup LB next in the list. A 3rd ST would be maybe 5th on the list of priorities after an experienced CB and a GK upgrade.

We have 2 good STs who are well rounded and have room to improve and push each other. Also both were relatively cheap at around that 30 mil mark so no price tag pressure.

We should be rotating a little more with the stars we just can’t risk like Caicedo, Palmer and Cucurella, but it feels like we don’t have that Palmer backup. Estevao has been playing in the 10 sometimes so possibly there so we can use both Madueke and Neto off their favored right side.

Yes we will need to buy another Striker and Winger, we could get injuries early and we would dumb to have no decent backups in all positions

We need a LB for cucu competition, another inside forward, another #10 and i really would prefer us keeping petrovic over maignan as maignan isnt the best positionally as well as shot stopping. We shouldnt prioritise distribution over shot stopping but maresca knows best so fingers crossed. Up the chels!

If I compare us and Palmeiras, surely we are not exciting. We need to be more quick when offensive. It won't happen because Maresca's stubborn. First half was boring.
