You could use the italian fiat as its extremely fast and also amphibious to some extent

How exactly are you changing the models of the tanks???? I've been messing around with the file for a good 2 hours now and when it's the original german vehicle whatever the model is called it works but when I go to edit the the file and swap out the german tank for an American tank it's not working. For example I'll put in "usa_xm_800t" wich is exactly how its named in the game files but when I go into the mission it doesn't recognize the vehicle so it does nothing.

Edit Nvm you have to find the cdk log and enter that name. For the usa it's identical except it's just "us" so instead of "usa_xm_800t" it's "us_xm_800t". You can see how that gets confusing.

One trick you could try. It seems that the enemy tank chooses the shortest path and drives directly towards you, demolishing buildings and crossing a lake doing so. It seems that the lake did not help. I think the enemy tank could not climb impossibly steep hills. So, if you know such place on the map, drive there using fastest possible path and see if the enemy tank attempts to catch you using a straight but impossible path. If you have a good gun you can try to hit the roof of the enemy tank.

You should do being against a Char 2C or a Yog while in an L3, but make them be only a very slight bit faster than you

This lighting and scenario is quite liminal. Perhaps the opposite could be scarier. Don’t change the map or lighting, but make it numerous small slow tanks relentlessly charging you as you barely scrape away at them
