/rummages through RainbowPlantLife's blog for the Matar Paneer recipe but alas, I cannot find it!! Are you able to link to the recipe, please? Also, it really has been a joy watching you cook and how you work through what's going on in your life. I appreciate you taking us along for the journey. I hope you have an amazing time in California! :)
ОтветитьCool video!
ОтветитьEverytime I see you make bagels 🥯 I say to myself “ I should probably make some” then I don’t then I see your videos where you make bagels and basically I never make bagels but it’s really nice seeing you make bagels… 😂😂😂
ОтветитьThat surprise rain storm was mad. Will miss it in a few months.
ОтветитьYour approach to simple yet delicious meals inspires me to try to start cooking again. If I have enough energy and baby doesn’t come too early I may try to meal prep a bunch of stews and healthy meals for postpartum once my mat leave starts. I am so lucky that my mom and MIL both cook for me postpartum but there’s not often any veggies involved 😅
ОтветитьI recently read an article stating that bananas and berries shouldn't be put in smoothies together, because the banana can prevent absorption of some of the berry antioxidants. No matter what I put in I have found that small amounts of coffee in a smoothie can make protein powder less obvious and I also prefer a plant based powder because I have a histamine allergy to dairy. I have also gound that mixing protein powders ahead of time with hot liquid and letting them cool overnight or longer can make the powder better also. Good luck with the search.
Ответитьhow do you make your protein shake and what protein powder? xx
And I can't find the recipe for the paneer - do you have a link? 🥰
Your videos are my favourite
ОтветитьI know it might be a weird one, but I personally love to just have a handful (4-5ish) gummies before hitting the gym! an apple with some cinnamon and sugar (some maple, or agave or just caster) is also great!
ОтветитьOh my gosh IMMY! 🌞Snacks are so easy it’s cooking that’s difficult! At least in my household it is. lol. Try “Pro Bar Protein” bars, “Aloha” chocolate mint bars, or good ole trail mix in a Shasher bag for hikes. That’s a shame that yogurt was not tasty. I’ve been on the hunt for more easy plant based protein sources since like you, I want to up my game with weight lifting and hiking this summer. ✌️
ОтветитьIf you usually drive to your hikes/climbing spots I’d put some (non-melty) snacks in the car for emergency snackage in case you forget them at home - nuts, bars, etc 💚
ОтветитьI hope you will have great time in California! I'm so jealous about surfing! I would like to try it once 😉
ОтветитьAnother great video! Would love to hear more about how your hikes went.
I love to bring Little Cuties” on my hiking trips. They are such yummy little mandarins that offer sugar and hydration. They go well with trail mix or bars.
As a pre-gym snack, I swear by having Japanese sweet potatoes (baked/meal prepped or microwaved) and coffee as my pre-workout. IMO it is the perfect satiating and fueling snack 😂
Thinking about bone density and muscle mass helped me get over my restricting eating disorder. Important stuff!!!
Also, im in Northern California! Hello from more nearby than usual!!!
Happy Viking Protein Powder. Tastes great!
ОтветитьWould you like to share with us which pans you use? I'm currently looking for a good cast iron pan and stainless steel pan. I mean, the prizerage and the choice are so overwhelming.
ОтветитьI highly recommend OWYN protein powder. It’s so good and mixes very easily even with water in a jar with ice.
ОтветитьI've been adding unflavored and unsweetened protein powder to pumpkin bread, and I find it blends into it really well! I've been ramping up slowly to see how much I can add without affecting the taste or texture - so far the most I've done is 4 scoops per 8-slice loaf, which amounts to 8g protein per slice between the recipe itself and the protein powder. I find it makes a really good pre-workout snack.
Ответитьso is there like a recipe to the white bean soup, or are we supposed to just quickly follow along as you made it? I'm not sure as to the final several ingredients you quickly tossed in. The carrots, onions and white beans are obvious (but amounts?)
ОтветитьAlso it is taught: chew your food, don't drink your calories. Should still work with a WFPB diet. No shakes necessary, no 'yucky (vegan) protein powder' from the store either.
ОтветитьMan, your outdoor plans sound amazing. I need to get outside more this summer! (The food looks great too)
ОтветитьI've been trying a whole bunch of protein powders to find my favorite. Some that I have found that tastes nice (in case it helps) are: Sunwarrior Chocolate Peanut Butter Warrior Blend, Vega Made Simple Dark Chocolate, Ghost Cinnabon, and Truvani Vanilla Chai. I've found that a handheld milk frother works really well to blend up protein powder into liquid (you can get them for like $5 - $8). Before my workouts, I've been eating overnight oats. I've been enjoying them with (easy homemade soy) yogurt and a little protein powder. However, after I eat my oats, I usually take a 3 mile walk before hitting up the gym, so I'm not sure if it would be too heavy directly before a workout. The only cocojune Greek style yogurt I've tried as been the Vanilla Cinnamon flavor and I really liked it. But I still like my homemade soy yogurt better. :)
ОтветитьLooking forward to the backpacking content if you filmed it. I hope you are doing ok. 😊
Ответитьamazing as always
Ответить🎉❤
ОтветитьDoes someone know if there's a European/ Dutch version of Nourish? :)
ОтветитьLove your content! I’m so inspired by your active lifestyle, I rarely see content creators move for fun and for long term wellbeing like you do rather than working towards a very specific goal in one specific sport or activity. Would love to see a work outs of the week video from you sometime, if that’s something you’d be interested in making? ❤
ОтветитьNot sure if you have tried Four Sigmatic plant based protein powder but I always hated protein powder until I found this one. It tastes great and doesn’t affect my stomach in any way.
ОтветитьI love watching you make bagels - i do want to try it. I saw your recipe on Instagram but it was for 10 bagels. What are the quantities for this 4 to 6 bagel batch?
Ответить🎈🎈
ОтветитьI love your videos so much, they're so comforting and help me to feel excited about my own vegan meal prep and exercise! Lots of love from Brighton UK x
ОтветитьImmy! Hearing your partnership with Nourish is surreal — I’m an RD at Nourish and specialize in plant-based eating…and live in Denver! My worlds are colliding in the best way, haha! I hope you have a lovely time with your dietitian! So happy to hear you’re feeling so inspired!
ОтветитьI always love your videos Immy! 🩷🩷 they are making me feel so calm and relaxed and are also inspiring me :)
Ответитьimmy you look so healthy and glowing!
ОтветитьCongratulations!!🎉 I am in my 30s and am starting a masters this year. You got this! Here's to starting over!!!
ОтветитьI am so excited for your San Diego/California video! That’s my hometown! I hope you have/had so much fun surfing and going up to the mountains
ОтветитьI enjoy how calm you are during your videos. Its easier for my brain to stay tuned. Thank you.😊
ОтветитьInterested in a cookbook tour of your favorites ❤
ОтветитьYou look so much happier and your skin is glowing!
ОтветитьI also struggle with pre-gym meals! I often like to make a chia pudding the night before w a dollop of greek yogurt, feels good and light but still fuels me for the workout
Ответитьoh my! were you out here when it was super hot?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this. Everything you make looks so yummy!
ОтветитьCalifornia suits you 😍
ОтветитьBeen there 🙌 My food looked perfect on paper, but I felt awful. Someone told me about Eat Like a Woman (b Loren Green), and it made all the difference. I lost fat, cleared my skin, and felt light again 💡💚 Just amazing
ОтветитьI never get tired of watching you make bagels. It is very soothing.
ОтветитьWould you consider making a video about your favorite plant based backcountry / backpacking meals? I backpack for work and sometimes struggle to think of nutritious (+ high protein) meals. Thanks!
ОтветитьIt’s so good to see you doing better. Way to go get help and do the work, you’re a warrior
Ответитьbeet juice can be a wonderful addition to a pre workout snack.
ОтветитьWhat’s the bagel recipe if we want to try them? ☺️
