Your projects came out great, but let's be clear: this was not a fixer home. It was in great condition. The fact that the guest bedroom looks great even though you haven't done anything to it proves it. You chose to remodel to customize the house to your aesthetic, but it didn't need to be remodeled to be livable like a fixer upper would need.
