Great looking knife! I haven't added a Kubey to my collection, yet. Probably going to be a fixed blade before a folder. I'm really digging the Kubey Aiden & Hippocampus fixed blades.

Great review, there Jake. Thank you for giving us a good look at the Knaf.

Happy Sunday Jake . I ordered a Dugu and Thalia yesterday on sale , thanks for your assistance . I figured out the ruixin pro008 finally and ordered the steel slide to replace the plastic garbage and it works so much better . 2000 grit paper on their stones at the end makes the mirror edge better than their 3000 grit stone . I forget what stones you recommended and use your code where I can . Thanks again

You should check out the canku c1136 . Not bad at all for $26 , not bad at all for an “inspired by “ very well done 👍 indeed . Particularly the thin wire cut for the lock bar is the thinnest I ve seen . So yeah, always looking for deals amd actually finding them but it’s usually there’s only a few left type thing . There’s a couple titanium kubeys left on Amazon for $69 . I was curious and decided to try the Persian style no one ever reviewed and it slipped under the radar . Looks good but we’ll see when it arrives . Someone from fed ex stole my WE chimera and they had to send another , lol . It arrived at fed ex in NY and then went missing 😂😂😂😂.

Kubey comes through again with a decent budget knife! Like you Jake, I’m still a big fan of Kubey knives

3.18"? NOOOOOOOOO!!! It looks a bit like a KU122, but with a front flipper. Thanks for sharing, Jake.

I kinda like the looks on this knife. However I wish it was about 1.5 ounces lighter and a bit smaller. (Seriously isn't the rule of thumb supposed to be something like an ounce (or less) of weight per inch of blade length?) This just doesn't seem like the sort of urban EDC knife that usually goes on my Amazon list. It seems like the sort of chunky boy I might carry in a sheath out at Mom's farm when I'm cutting up a tree that came down and might need something a bit bigger and more robust than I normally carry, but not a full-up chopper. Then again I can fill the chunky boy niche w/ a Buck Ranger (112) or a number of other folding and fix-blades from ye old box o knives.

As for the name, Thalia is from Greek mythology. Depending on the source she can be either one of the graces, one of the muses, a nereid, or a nymph. In most cases she's a daughter of Zeus. If you're a Rick Riordan fan, you probably know her better as a the demigod daughter of Zeus introduced in Sea of Monsters in the 1st Percy Jackson series. So... Personally I think the name is easier to remember than the model number. :P
